What age do *you* find most attractive? And why

Disagree about men 28-32. Most at this age are one of three types:

1) Losers still clinging to the single undergrad years lifestyle with lots of booze and video gaming and non-commital dating.

2) new dads of toddlers who are sweet and devoted but have let themselves go physically because of being a dad taking precedent over staying fit.

3) career obsessed and super driven, with no time for a serious relationship. Lots of mid-level military officers or junior law partners in this category. They have time to **** you a few times a month, but that’s all they can spare you.

#2’s are the best, if you’re lucky enough to be married to one and they don’t let themselves go too far out of shape before 40, because once the kid(s) are over 10-12, these guys tend to try and get fit again, and usually do. Then they’re a prize. If you didn’t marry one and you’re still single, there’s plenty like this who divorce because their marriages fall apart because the wife has let herself go.

But the whole guys 28-32 thing is just dead wrong. Let them get into their 40’s or early 50’s. If they’re still in shape then…. Yum.

A good man’s marriage does not fall apart because his wife has “let herself go.”

If she stops putting out.

Enjoy it while it lasts! I had kids in my 20s too and looking back, late 30s, early 40s were my best years. I'm now in my 40s, with a great figure, but the wrinkles are coming along. You're also correct about the fat in the face. It helped me out, and will likely continue to do so until I get jowls like my father!

I am! I am hoping and praying for a miracle of science to cure jowls too, because I know they’re coming 😂

I think men can be sexy until age 55.

After that it’s all downhill from there.

Sure like any + all generalizations there is always an exception to the rule - but most men just look like 👴🏿 Grandfathers after 55.
Except a select few.

Will Smith, Dr. Dre, Eddie Murphy.

Very, very, very, much so. Also misogynist and deliberately provocative. But that's what you were going for, so you win 3 eyerolls.

I am 45. I woke up this morning and had the following thought: this is the first morning since I was 13 years old that I woke up without a single pimple.

People age differently, many are most attractive younger but not all.

Personally, I think 27-32 were my most attractive years. A good friend of mine was awkward looking at that age and is much better looking now, at 39. DH probably looked best when he was 28-29. Some men really do become much more attractive with age. (Most don’t.)

27-38 imo

Some gray hair and laugh lines are very attractive on a man.

This is my DH! He is very attractive, but got a bit soft in the middle during the baby/toddler years when we were sleep deprived and surviving. He’s now mid-40s and our kids are elementary age, and he’s in even better shape than when we met. Not gym rat type, but he’s fit and eats healthy and has mostly given up alcohol (which honestly I think is a huge help with the aging process). He’s also fortunate to still have a full head of hair and good skin.

Thankfully I haven’t let myself go either so I don’t anticipate him being back on the market.

But I totally agree that a fit mid-40s dad is hotter than a 28 year old.

If you don't get jowls, chances are you have the type of face where you look hollow and gaunt. When people in my family get old, they don't get jowls, but they start veering into skeletor territory

I am a late 40s woman now but I think I was the most attractive in my late 20s before kids. Assuming they stay in shape, I think both men and women are generally the most physically attractive in that late 20s-early 30s age range.

Totally agree. Im in my 40s and have stayed the same size, but late 20s/early 30s was definitely when I looked the best --- I could just wake up looking great. Now I think I look fine but you can see my exhaustion sometimes.

20-25 men. Need to look like they’ve been in the gym every day of that. It’s the best hair and teeth ages for them after that men let their smiles go and I hate that. These are the ages when boyfriends were fun. After this age they are naggy, racist, misogynistic and argumentative/combative, drunk and set in their ways. Just talking to old men is exhausting until they get grandpa ages and lose their filters in “endearing” ways.

If you are 20 live it up. The men are all downhill from there.

I find men around 35-45 to look the best. I find the same for women too, actually. I was most attractive from 27-37. My skin is better in my 40s because I REALLY started taking care of it, but the wrinkles around my eyes bother me.

Late bloomer. Female. I was hottest 25-35. I look young for my age age my round face thinned out slightly. I went from girl next door to men beating down my door.

I find men hottest between mid 20s-mid 30s. Peak physical specimens without looking too young.

Men can be sexy as they age- but if I compare a young Paul Newman to an old one or a young Brad Pitt to an old one.

The younger is so much hotter.

I have always been attracted to men about 10 years older than I am. Always. I'm 53, and it's still the case. Definitely not attracted to men younger than I am.

I feel this way at 40-41. I was less confident and with a chubby face when I was younger, then I was in mommy mode for a decade. I get turned heads when I walk in places now, men of all ages.

Attractive confident people look good. I went out with a 30 year old for a work event yesterday and his imaturity wasn't attractive. I'd say seasoned men at least 35 are attractive and older as long as they're fit.
