What age do *you* find most attractive? And why

Anonymous
I’m a woman, late thirties, bisexual but happily, monogamously married.

I find men as a whole most attractive between around 28-32: they’re physically gorgeous, are typically hitting some professional stride, and have a nice combination of confidence and youthfulness.

I find well-kept, fit women in their forties smoking hot.

What about you?

Men in their 40's-50's with a little age on them. Some crows feet around the eyes are super sexy to me. Fit, but not gym-rat muscular which is a turn off for me. I'm 58F.

39 yard old man. Women in their late 20s-early 30s, probably.

You folks are nuts: don’t we mostly look at old photos of ourselves in our late teens/early 20’s and see a lean silhouette, clear skin, all-in-all the most smoking-hot version of ourselves?

No. I've always been fit. But I'm the leanest and fittest version of myself in my 40s, with a clear complexion. I am older and have other age related flaws though.

I am a late 40s woman now but I think I was the most attractive in my late 20s before kids. Assuming they stay in shape, I think both men and women are generally the most physically attractive in that late 20s-early 30s age range.

Agree for myself and others.

Agree about fit women in their 40’s

Disagree about men 28-32. Most at this age are one of three types:

1) Losers still clinging to the single undergrad years lifestyle with lots of booze and video gaming and non-commital dating.

2) new dads of toddlers who are sweet and devoted but have let themselves go physically because of being a dad taking precedent over staying fit.

3) career obsessed and super driven, with no time for a serious relationship. Lots of mid-level military officers or junior law partners in this category. They have time to **** you a few times a month, but that’s all they can spare you.

#2’s are the best, if you’re lucky enough to be married to one and they don’t let themselves go too far out of shape before 40, because once the kid(s) are over 10-12, these guys tend to try and get fit again, and usually do. Then they’re a prize. If you didn’t marry one and you’re still single, there’s plenty like this who divorce because their marriages fall apart because the wife has let herself go.

But the whole guys 28-32 thing is just dead wrong. Let them get into their 40’s or early 50’s. If they’re still in shape then…. Yum.

I've always preferred older men (relative to me). I married one. Young men are not interesting, and I've thought this since I was 19.

For women, any age can be beautiful. Visible foundation/lipstick/mascara is repulsive to me. Only eye shadow should look added on. The rest should look natural.

I'm really into the 25-35 set. Matt Rife, Harry Styles, etc.

I think my looks have peaked at 39. I am fit, have no wrinkles or visible signs of age, and have the money and knowledge to do right by my hair, skin, and clothes. My face is round so I think the thinning out that happens with age is actually better looking on me. In my mid and late 20s I was popping out babies and did not look or feel my best.

Enjoy it while it lasts! I had kids in my 20s too and looking back, late 30s, early 40s were my best years. I'm now in my 40s, with a great figure, but the wrinkles are coming along. You're also correct about the fat in the face. It helped me out, and will likely continue to do so until I get jowls like my father!
