Baltimore man wanted for murdering a tech CEO

Segment on GMA right now.

Mayor said the killer should never have been on the street.

Another resident in the building said they have entry codes on the doors so she’s wondering how he got in.

Fingerprints are faster. He’s in the system.

To think this young woman suffered a brutal, traumatic, and pointless killing because a misguided DA and others in the Maryland legal sysyem thought this violent criminal should be released? How could anyone with a grain of intelligence think he was someone whose past crimes indicated he wouldn't harm anyone again?

Dude is HUGE and scary, would you confront him? He likely followed in a resident or food delivery person or watched them key in code. Not rocket science.

WTF? How did this guy get out of state prison?

Something isn't adding up. He was explicitly denied parole and a violent sex offender.

I think someone probably f#cked up and he was accidently released by the state prison.

Put your politics down for 10 seconds and review the facts. Then continue.

In the US, "sentences" are quoted as maximums, ot actual.

This offender was *tentatively* sentenced to 30 years. I believe that was for attempted rape, but not sure. (Similar crime to what God Emperor Trump committed, by the way. https://apnews.com/article/trump-rape-carroll-trial-fe68259a4b98bb3947d42af9ec83d7db
)

That sentence was immediately reduced to 14 years by the judge (not the DA, troll PP). Probably was following standard guidelines.
That is the base sentence, for poor non-criminal behavior during the sentence. As an incentive for good behavior in prison, prisoners generally can make "double time" for good behavior.

This offender earned 5 years of credits for good behavior, ultimately serving 9 years with good behavior.
9 years! That's a long time to try therapy, medication, education, or build a case for mental illness institutionalization after the sentence.

More likely (but I don't know) he was subjected to 9 years of non-therapeutic punitive measures during incarceration, and departed equal or more sexually violent as he entered.

This is a systemic failure that Democrats and Republicans share.

No, he was let out for "good time credits." His release was not accidental and yes, he had been denied parole. He was not released due to the Parole Board.

It's scary to think no one knows where he is.

Credible, local reporting attributes his release to Mosby policies.

Yes. And he is at large, as are others with similar histories, in all likelihood.

Except this one has raped 2 people (killed one), assaulted another , and set someone’s house on fire all in the past week. Total strangers, from the reporting, so no “motive” so to speak. Which is terrifying

This is weird, 50 years between them. Wonder if it is an adoptive "mom" informally or otherwise? And he went and hung out with her the day the body was found? Lots of strange aspects to this case, including how the body got on the inaccessible roof.

Of all the places in the world to be questioning the fact that a woman can be a mother at 50!? Do you even read DCUM? OLDER moms are the norm now Karen. Don't judge. Celebrate.
