That’s with the $7500 federal rebate and the $7500 CA rebate.

Ignore him. He has employees who have families to feed, and then there's the planet to support.

CA gives you a tax break besides the Fed one. What about DC?

$300k limit is too low? Really?

If I live in Maryland, is that one of the lower priced states? Or, can I buy it in another state and get the lowest price?

What’s the limit?

maximum of $300,000 for a household, $150,000 for an individual or $225,000 for a head of household.

I am never certain, though, if it means AGI or just gross.

Almost always means AGI.

I never knew Biden and the Dems were so conservative, withholding tax incentives from 2-income families. Get back in the kitchen, spouses!

Or maybe they are liberal, and they want us to cohabitate instead of marry?

You are still paying over 40k. The tax break isn't off the purchase price.

?

The vast majority of Americans make less than $300K HHI. If your HHI is $300K, you are in the to 5% and can afford a $30K car.

Our HHI is about $300K. We bought a car a few years ago for $30K cash.

I don't see any tax credits for Maryland on the Tesla site. Only the $7500 federal credit.

And high wage earners pay progressive income tax.
$100K in income tax and Medicare / SS, $10K in property tax, charitable donations, all add up.
