If you have low HHI, you can get $3,000, but have to upload your tax return.

I thought it would be more complicated to apply and be approved for it, but apparently it isn't.

I dont know if I can use up 750 dollars by August--would they allow for already paid for tutoring for this year?

It’s per kid. Applied for both kids and each was approved for $1500.

I’d read the fine print, but I don’t think so. Talk to your tutor (presumably now on the approved list). The program only started in late April, so I don’t think tutors can bill for services before they were approved.

If you contact tutors in your area or are willing to work with someone online, I think you’ll find quite a few would be delighted to work with you to come up with a way to help you spend $750 on tutoring for the summer.

I got an email from FaCTS my submission is complete but that the original grant organization has to make decision for approval--do i need to do anything or just wait?

For anyone who has received a grant, how long did it take to receive the list of approved providers? I received an email today my kid was approved for a grant and to watch for an email soon with more info.
