Yes you can.

I got the application is complete email a couple days ago and then nothing.

Dude, you just applied two days ago! Be patient!

That’s a lot of complaining for $1500 of free money.

Does anyone know if people are still getting approved for these or if the money ran out?

Mathnasium is an approved provider. Just got an email from them about it.

I applied last Friday. The application has been 'complete' since Tuesday. I received no notification that there is money available though. Has anyone heard anything about funding being available?

Any idea if this is still an option?

We just got the email this morning that our region (Fairfax) is out of money allocations.

Can you use this for mathnasium?

Im still waiting for my tutor to be approved--she has been "gray" for around 1 week

If you applied in the past week, you will get denied. They ran out of money for Northern Virginia. I am really upset, my children really could have used this.

If you are using this money purely for enrichment and just so you can, please consider forfeiting the funds so that those of us who really need it get a chance. I'm so angry at my neighbor who is like "oh yeah, my kid wants to do fun outschool classes this summer instead of camp, so we'll use this money for that" when my child failed his math SOL and needs intensive math remediation that we now have to pay for out of pocket.

Blame Youngkin. Not other parents. His VDOE set it up this way.

It's free money. Of course people are lining up for it whether they need it or not. Even if some parents will forfeit it in favor of kids who need it more, many others won't

I’ve been paying for remediation tutoring for almost 10 years. We can afford it, but I didn’t skip a beat applying for a grant.

How do you determine who is more worthy of it? I call BS, and glad I voted the way I did.
