Annoyed with hotel cancellation policy

How is it preventing you from going? This is a child care issue. Bring the kids.

Oh, it’s Keswick? I posted earlier with no sympathy, but, I bet you’re annoyed partially because the people you dealt with probably didn’t have great customer service skills. I stayed there recently and the staff was NOT five star. They were more like people you’d find working in a nineties grunge record store. It woulda been fine for a courtyard Marriott but not a five star.

This was clear as day on their website when booking:

Full prepayment is required at time of booking and it is refundable according to the rate cancellation policy.
Cancel Policy
Cancel by 4PM - local time - 14 days prior to arrival to avoid 100% of total stay penalty fee.


Either get another sitter or take the kids.

What good is contacting your credit card company? They failed to buy travel insurance. The policy is clear as crystal. Just because you claim to be a lawyer doesn’t make you one or right!
