Seems like a smelly combo. Are they mixed together or eaten side by side.

What a weird question. I don't believe how they are served makes any difference, except in terms of individual preferences. The differences would be between if you have 2 eggs and one slice of salmon or 6 eggs and 4 slices.

It's not a weird question. How do you prefer to eat this? Scrambled together or side by side? Why would I ask the quantity? Six eggs and four slices of salmon is a lot for one person.

I've never had the two together.

Sugar free greek yogurt with granola mixed in. Protein powder with almond milk, whatever gets you 3-500 calories.

Peanut butter surprise oatmeal.

1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup whole milk
1/2 cup water
dash of cinnamon
pinch of salt

cook like normal oats. In your bowl, add a heaping tablespoon of peanut butter at the bottom. Then add the oats to the peanut butter. THEN top with more peanut butter and some type of fruit (frozen raspberries works really nicely--they get jammy, and the temperature contrast is nice). I like to add another splash of milk and more cinnamon on top, too.

This way, you have peanut butter on top and then when you finish the peanut butter (the best part), surprise! More peanut butter.

This ends up being like 700 calories. Just up the amounts all around if you need more energy, or do a full cup of milk.

NP, and it’s a very weird question, at least when prefaced with “seems like a smelly combo.”

Anyway, some people eat the salmon scrambled in the eggs, but I prefer it on the side so the heat of the eggs doesn’t cook the salmon and change the texture. One of my favorite breakfasts.

Do you have time to cook steel cut oats before work?

… without flour or sugar.
… and easy.

Your ideas please?

Flour and sugar could potentially be compromised. But easy, healthy, filling are musts.

Do you really mean five servings? You’re eating 10-12 breakfasts every day? That’s so much food! Impressive!

Huge green salad with two fried eggs on top. Salad can include all kinds of things, from chopped cucumbers and peppers to seeds and nuts. Homemade vinaigrette. I have this most days for breakfast/lunch.

I would do breakfast burritos with whole wheat tortillas with refried beans, scrambled eggs, and some cheese. Fiber, carbs, protein and fat - great combo. If you can get some spinach in there without a fuss, even better.

Yes, that's what I eat every morning. I just followed the instructions on the egg white carton, five servings. Same with steel-cut oatmeal.

I switched my diet to plant-based twelve months ago and I feel great eversince. My 20 years old college son is home for the winter break from UVA and he eats the exact same thing I am eating but three times the size. He has been on a plant-based diet for the past two years and he is in excellent shape. He spends 90 minutes everyday in the gym working out. I feel much lighter and have much more energy with a plant-based diet.
