Depends on the age also. We are all 50+ and cannot take more than a glass each.

Unless I knew people would drink 0-2 glasses only (like folks are driving, that's all they ever do, etc) i would get 9 because it's not like what's left will go bad, and I hate running out of things when I have guests.

How long is the event? I’d plan for at least 6 unless you know some aren’t drinking much. I’d personally buy 9.
