DP. If you have plenty of room to move over, then ok. But if you're going to cut someone off and can't even bother to signal, well... |
I always use mine but this response confirms my theory that people today are so entitled and self-absorbed that they literally think nobody else needs to go which way they are going and they would rather risk getting in an accident or causing an accident to prove that point. My secondary theory is that people are too busy eating and using their phone or smacking their kid in the backseat to be able to add turn signal to their multitasking. |
I bet a lot of accidents would be avoided if we knew where you moving your 2 ton vehicle |
|
I like to keep them guessing.
|
So you can pull up and not let me in? No thanks. I'll take my chances. |
| Especially people making a left. So annoying!!! |
This reply made me laugh out loud. |
I agree with this poster 100%. JFC, how could sp many be so self absorbed? |
| I did before I moved to the DC area, here people cut me off if I signal. So screw them. |
I think you need to take your driver's test again. You need to signal BEFORE you make the move. That's the entire point! |
| I always use a turn signal, but the people complaining about other drivers speeding up to keep them from moving over once they signal aren't wrong -- it happens a lot, and it's very annoying. |
Me too |
+1 this is how drivers communicate with each other and it frustrates me to no end |
|
It’s almost more annoying for someone to use their turn signal if they’re not going to turn it on until half or more of their car has already entered another lane. I don’t need you to signal a move you’ve already nearly completed.
I don’t understand why some people use parking lights instead of headlights when it’s dark. |
|
I swear there was a similar thread not that long ago.
I turn on my signal just before I get in front of you so you’re not able to prevent me from switching lanes. I only turn on my signal when I am able to make my move, not to signal for permission. |
