| It seems that more cars DON'T use a turn signal than do. It makes you a safer and better driver to use it, so why are you one of the people who don't? |
| It’s no one’s business where I’m going |
| When I got my license in California in the 90s it was only required for certain turns, not all turns. So it was hard once I moved here to change the habit. |
The law would disagree. and we can see you turn, so we know where you're going, we're just asking for you to give us a little notice. |
| If someone is not paying attention (AKA hanging out in the left lane) then I figure it won’t matter if I use my signal or not. |
| I agree. I wish people would use turn signals when they are zig-zagging on the major highways. |
I live in California and notice how many people don't use their turn signals. If I drove here, it would drive me nuts. |
| My luxury car didn't come with one. Crazy, right??!! |
That's the Bethesda version. |
And we don’t care, Barbara
We just want some warning when you heave your Range Rover across 3 lanes of beltway at the last second. That River Road exit comes up sooooo fast. |
Pretty sure it would be federally prohibited in this country if it lacked turn signals. |
| Because we don't have a ton of time to make our move. It's not like ok, I'm going to change lanes later. I will initiate the lane change signal then relax. |
| also, here, if God forbid you use a turn signal, people speed up so you cannot switch lanes. |
Exactly this. I use a turn signal when I can, but often that just results in other drivers speeding up so I can't switch lanes. |
| Of all the crazy stuff that happens on the road, this ranks toward the bottom of my concerns. |
