Fake nails - tacky or not?

Except for rare special occasions, I don't get them because I don't want to pay to maintain them, and because it's just not practical with little kids, pets, work, etc. But I really like them on other people. And I am not into any other "fake" beauty stuff like lashes.

Non-tacky example:

Those aren’t tacky. They are full on disgusting.

I'm sure your style is super fun and joyful.

It all depends on how you have them done and what style.

You can't even tell with sny of these things. I've been accused of having fake everything on your list and I'll throw in hair. It's all real and they're fabulous!

Based on some of the fashion recommendations I see around here, I wouldn’t consider DCUM to be a reliable source of what’s trendy or fashionable. Just say you’re boring and unimaginative and leave it at that.

Well, you described yourself as a "...a shorter nailed lady", which actually says a lot about you in terms of your age, the way you dress, your hair, your overall style. I'm picturing TakPak Crunchy meets Coastal Grandmother.

Sounds kinda judgey, right?

You sound boring and obnoxious. Enjoy your Eileen Fisher and stay in your suburban normcore bubble.

Fake nails are tacky. Fake tan looks like mud and fake glow on your nose looks stupid.
