HOV lane for pregnant women

To be fair, I do think that men should be paying child support for a fetus. Most women need to eat more, need to eat more expensive things, take supplements, pay for and take time off for medical appointments, most can’t work towards the end of the pregnancy and some can’t work from the very beginning. Women shouldn’t shoulder that burden alone.

Why use birth dates to determine legal age? We might as well start using date of conception no?

Definitely -- and that applies to all of us. So I'm applying for Medicare 9 months earlier than expected!

Here is the response from this REPUBLICAN state legislator:

One of my kids is three years older than her birth cert. Frozen embryo.

She can retire earlier.

I suspect that theaters will like this idea
Yes, you may order from kids menu but only for fetus to consume. You must order from regular menu.

I'm not hungry but my fetus is.

If a fetus is a person, child support need to start at conception.

It would be nice, but let’s not humor the “life begins at conception” folks. It will only reinforce their beliefs.

The purpose of HOV is to reduce the number of cars on the road. I’d argue any unlicensed driver in the car should not count towards the HOV requirement as they would never Heinz separate car anyway

100% The father should cover medical costs and lost wages for maternity leave.

except children, including babies do count in HOV. So, the unborn child should count, too.

Well, that's nice. Most do. My husband certainly contributed to my medical costs and leave.

And, just curious.....
Does this include the father when the sperm used to fertilize the egg is from a sperm bank? Things could get very interesting.......

LOL! Exactly! But, will have to get a waiver from the school for her to start kindergarten when she's 8 years old since she won't be developmentally ready when she's 5? What about when she's 18 but only in 10th grade. Will they still let her graduate from high school even though she'll be 21? Inquiring minds want to know!

Oh! And what about getting her driver's license and buying booze and voting!

What if she’s not hungry, but the fetus is? I ate a ton more when I was pregnant. I’d hope the state would start supporting the growing fetus with nourishment from conception.
