Actually the Press is notoriously anti-POTUS. They regularly criticize the President. The only exception was during the previous President's term, Faux News was his cheerleading squad. But then, they aren't really journalists, but editorialists, the entire team, including the supposed News side of the house.

Trump had a four year pass to do whatever he wanted. No matter how bad he was, the story was buried a day or two later. Nothing was too low and there was no follow up on anything. Yeah, they reported on his crimes, but there was no zealotry, no real follow through. More than any other single person, Donald Trump is responsible for the world wide inflation, any possible problems at the southern border and for the millions of deaths worldwide from covid. Like it or lump it, until Donald Trump and his GOP henchman ruined every ducking thing, the US helped lead nascent pandemic responses, especially knowing that China lies its butt off regarding viruses.

Biden has had a ton of new ideas, great ones. The GOP wants to make sure that the Democrats and the nation do not succeed. You’ve probably been active in complaining about them.

The article about the jibs report is tone deaf. What about inflation at 40 year highs for the last 5 months. You cannot go into the grocery store without is being very noticeable. I don't care if you're Democrat or Republican, I just don't see enough concern about this from the administration.

They really f'ed up with the whole laptop story. They also f'ed up with the whole 3 years of Russian collusion. And, their coverage of the riots during the summer of 2020 was horrendous.
At some point, they have to start cozying up with the actual truth. Things are not going well in the country or internationally.
Media credibility is at an all time low. Perhaps they are finally recognizing that they have to start being honest with the American people who consume their news.
