Cold going around with sore throat, stuffy nose?

Rofl people from the DC area have lost it. This is what happens when you live in an ideological bubble where adults wears masks OUTSIDE for 2 years.

Yup. In our 'hood, not wearing a KN95 or better outdoors is practically grounds for excommunication. Not everyone feels like this, of course, but there are enough who do. And this is the downside: utter inability to handle something as minor as a cold. But please, tell me again how kids are resilient.

I have events and deadlines lined up, plus I'm curious about it's course, how people managed, etc. If you are bored just swipe.

About its course??? How people managed? What on earth? It's a cold! They felt crappy for a couple days and then got on with it.

What kind of contingency planning will you implement based on the response?

Have you gotten your 4th booster yet? Try wearing 4 masks instead of the usual 3! If all else fails, lock yourself inside for the next 2 years until things calm down out there!

I haven't worn a mask outside since I was vaccinated and only wear a mask inside if the business mandates it. Please don't act like everyone in DC is as neurotic as OP. Thx.

Why does it matter? Get better, move on. No one is contact tracing any more, even the schools.

I think maybe people are posting here looking for double confirmation it’s not Covid. Since tests can be wrong.

Yes, this sounds like a virus that’s been going around.

This has to be one of the dumbest posts I’ve read in the Health topic.
