| DD got a virus and a week later, now I have it. It starts with a sore throat. Stuffed nose. Then maybe a nasal drip cough. Anyone else have this? We are covid negative. DD was tested at doc office, I did home test. Just ugh. |
We had exactly that 2 weeks ago. Tested negative for covid. My asthma kid needed the Nebulizer for 2 days but other that it was short and mild. |
Sorry you had it too. DD was sick 4-5 days. On the mend now. I'm hoping I can get through it faster |
| I had this the other week. Used saline spray and allergy meds with decongestant. Took about a week to feel much better and not so congested. |
| allergies? tree pollen is way up this week. |
| My 9 yr old had it last week for over a week and now my 6 yr old has it. |
| What is the point of these posts? Of course colds and vague random viruses are circulating. We live in a giant metropolitan area and it's winter. Lots of people have something, always. It's not noteworthy. |
I have events and deadlines lined up, plus I'm curious about it's course, how people managed, etc. If you are bored just swipe. |
| It has so far skipped the adults in the house but both my kids are getting over colds. It's taking a long time with my son - 1.5 weeks and he's still stuffy. Covid tests all negative. One of my neighbors said it took him two weeks to kick a cold that went through his house a few weeks ago. |
About its course??? How people managed? What on earth? It's a cold! They felt crappy for a couple days and then got on with it. |
| My husband has this too. Tested negative for Covid twice. He’s just upping Vitamin C and drinking hot tea. He is on day 6 now. Not too bad, but there were two days where the cough sounded a bit bad. |
Just don’t click on the thread. It’s not that difficult. Shoo. |
| Wow. I get it, no one got colds for two years, but do you really not know how to handle a cold? |
| Did you have a PCR test? I had covid and home test was negative, PCR was positive. |
| What kind of question is this? That sounds like a cold. Colds exist. Of course cold viruses are always “going around.” |
