I think that's another news thing he did recently. Why the surprise, PP? Hogan refuses to enforce restrictions. Of course we're in for it. And he's actually telling us that he won't implement restrictions, and that we'll suffer for it.

Right? If these are going to be the worst weeks bc it’s much more contagious- how does lunch happen safely? Spaced out indoor lunch with omicron doesn’t mitigate risk.

FYI, the emergency declaration PROTECTS HOSPITALS FROM BEING SUED FOR ADVERSE OUTCOMES, because they are operating at catastrophic standards. This was a request from hospitals themselves, who know they cannot provide adequate care. This affects you and me if we get into a car accident on icy roads, for example, or have a heart attack or stroke.


Hogan refuses to put in place measures that could reduce the number of people flooding hospitals, and this is one of the consequences.

He is acting extremely irresponsibly.

I want everything shut down EXCEPT schools.

That would help drive home to the people who are out partying how serious this is. We also need a temporary resumption of some emergency benefits

Washington Post did a report on how he hid that the half-million Korean tests he got to great fanfare last year did not actually work. He uses a private messaging app with content that self-destructs in 24hours to communicate with staff on sensitive topics, contrary to Open Records laws. He used that app to pressure his staff not to talk about those tests, and not hide that the state currently does not have enough testing capacity, even though he claims it does.

Larry Hogan is not insane like Trump. But "better than Trump" should not be our bar, correct?

I'm the PP who wrote the above. To be clear, I couldn't care less what part of the political spectrum he's on. I am merely commenting on the fact that he's not, actually, that great at taking care of his constituents.
