+2, I would have loved this as a law school graduation present in my mid-late 20s. |
How would I go about buying $2500 diamond studs? Is $2,500 enough for this? Literally, where to look, what to expect, etc. Thank you! |
Roll away. |
Try your local jeweler. |
+3. Maybe Blue Nile for best value? IDK. But not Tiffany. |
| God this thread ranks up there with the can someone recommend their pony rental service thread for crazy DCUMness |
| Really? This feels pretty tame. No one has mentioned Hermes, yet. LOL. |
| Diamond studs - try Blue Nile. |
Grad school gifts? Wow. I thought these stopped at HS graduation when kids become adults. Cartier watch. Wow. At this point you’re n the hook to put a down payment on a house for her. |
No they don’t. This is very common for wealthy young people. |
So much for wealth whispering. |
| Agree with diamond studs. Go to Boone and Sons and let them know what you want and your budget. She’ll have them forever. |
You mean young people who want everyone to know that their family has money. |
She's getting an MBA and travels in circles where a Cartier is an acceptable gift for a BA from a godparent. I'm guessing she will be making far more than 50k unless she's working for a non-profit or in publishing while living off of mom and dad. |
I still have the briefcase my now wife bought me for law school graduation. It seemed like a standard gift at the time. |
