Not a Catholic, but me too. |
| I’m speaking out of turn here as an atheist, but as a former Catholic, who once believed in heaven, I have to ask, what type of heaven would it be without our dogs?! I was taught heaven was essentially your own person happy place. For many, that would necessarily include dogs. |
| Methodist, and I do not plan on scooping kitty litter in Heaven. |
I am Episcopalian and this is pretty much what I believe to. |
but the poor goldfish and mouse don't make the cut? who are you to say? |
Sure, so while someone is living and believing in an eternal life in heaven, why not think about your dog being there too? Very soothing -- which is what belief in heaven is all about. |
cats don't poop in heaven. Neither do people - take it from me. |
Too funny. I guess that makes you wonder if there are any bodily functions in heaven. Eating, drinking, sex? |
Kittens don't poop in heaven. Neither do people -- take it from me. |

Another believer in pets in heaven.
Though, like the PP above---I am enthusiastic about reunion with the dog but am less concerned about the hamsters and the lizard. Though I have to wonder---my husband loathed my dog, who did everything within his power, including biological terrorism, to drive him away while we were dating. If my husband encounters my former dog in the afterlife, he will believe he has arrived in hell. |
| Dogs are love in a fur coat. God is love. So yes, there are dogs in heaven. I’m a former Catholic. Those who’ve had NDEs say they’ve met up with dogs at the end of the tunnel of light. |
only the good bodily functions are in heaven. otherwise, it's not heaven |
Ever heard of a bad NDE? I haven't. |
| Is there free will in heaven? |
