Nah...it should be Purge style: all 8th grade hopefuls go to Burke Lake Park for the weekend, and the last 500 standing are the incoming freshman class.

Or maybe the parents of the 8th graders participate in the Purge. We could sell walk-around and hospitality tent tickets like at a golf tournament, and the money raised could go to boost the Young Scholars programs at the eastern schools, so overtime the "applicant" pool would become more competitive.

Please. You can find Alumni from any of the Prestige Colleges that are famous and go one to do amazing things but they are still a relatively small percentage of the total population of people who attend or graduate from those schools. The same for TJ.

If it is to provide a tech school for those interested in tech, it should be lottery. If it is to be the top school, that won’t work.
