I guess you guys have never had surgery. Between being filled with Iv fluids and taking strong pain meds, there’s no “holding it.” |
NP. I think it's going to vary person to person. I absolutely believe you that this was your experience, and it means it might make sense for the character, too. But I've had several major surgeries as an adult (congenital defect) and never not been able to hold it for several minutes. |
totally agree |
If that were the case, she would have called out to Miranda and interrupted her hook-up with Che. She would not have quietly scooted herself to the edge of the bed and peed in an empty Snapple bottle. The hate watching here is unhinged. |
To be fair, Carrie was pretty deeply asleep. It was a bit trashy, but if it hadn’t been a studio apartment it might have played differently. That said, I’d prob not make the same choice. The past her shelf life comment is so ridiculously ageist, women do contain to be sexual long after the grays - get comfortable with at least that part. |
I think the writing is terrible. They jump from one crisis to the next: Big’s death, Miranda’s unhappiness + lesbian discovery, Charlotte’s cis (sis?) child and last but not least, hip surgery. |
The hips surgery was not a crisis, it was just a thing that happens. |
Here's my dumb question: Is it still Carrie's old apartment? The layout looks totally different and more spacious. And her bedroom is damn depressing. I thought she had the whole place remodeled during the first movie. |
Babe, she was on opioids. Yes, she only took one (apparently that was half the dose) but as a New Poster who has also had surgery and painkillers afterward, it ain’t pretty, and you aren’t in control. Pray that you never have the experience. |
Oh whatever. We don’t have to see it. It’s not sexy to watch. I’ve never seen Miranda poop either, but I presume she does that. I’ve never watched Charlotte get a colonoscopy, but maybe she has. |
Yes, same apartment, same layout. |
Did you mean to respond to a different post? |
The target audience is NOT “woke” millennials. They THINK they’re going to get them to watch with this nonsense, but no way. The target audience are the original viewers. And we just want to see what happens to these people. The end. None of this ridiculous writing. |
I said most people. Since you aren’t most people, do you also congratulate them? (Wow. Sounds like you two have improved your technique. DS gave out quite the final hurrah there at the end. Well done yiu two! Let’s see if your dad and I can top that tonight.) |
Presumably these two arent teens like Miranda’s son. |
