2 - VDA/Loudoun/VSA
3 - McLean/FCV/Arlington
4 - Metro

VSA (feeder to vda) is as good as vda and Loudoun? Better than McLean, fcv, Arlington? What?

Yeah. VSA beat both FCV and Arlington this year.

That was VDA. Most of the players were on VSA last year but this year they are on VDA. VSA tied Vienna. They did not beat Arlington.

Arlington is markedly better this year that previous years. They would beat Loudoun this year. They would beat McLean this year and they did beat them last year. It would be interesting to see Arlington and VDA play.

How many PWSI players and how many vsa players are on vda 08?

Is this for 2008? FCV is not good. They are better than last year when they were terrible but still not a top team

Based on the current ECNL standings, the rankings are:

1. Richmond;
2. VDA;
3. McLean;
4. Loudoun;
5. BRYC.

This is the only objective way to evaluate the relative strength of these teams and the rankings may change as they will play each other again in the league games.

I am not sure about current standings of non-ECNL post-DA teams in their league, but you have to rank them against each other based on how they did in the league, rather than on some subjective parent assessment.

+1. Also ECNL is clearly better than GA. Actually for both 07s and 08s ECNL is better. The chips are falling into place on the relative strength between those two leagues.

Only 5 VSA. Four field players and a goalkeeper took offers.

Why didn’t they take the offers?

Loudoun staffer does NOT want you to put the list on all age groups. Let alone both genders. (There are only two by the way, just saying)

Not true.

The 07 VA Youth Soccer Rankings are:

1 FC VIRGINIA UNITED THE ST JAMES ACADEMY [41] 33.49
2 LOUDOUN SC SOCCER ECNL [57] 33.20
3 MCLEAN YS YSA ECNL [64] 33.11
4 ARLINGTON SA DA [138] 32.26

There was little change in these rosters from last year.

The 08 Rankings will change as these the make up of these teams has changed

A year from now barring injuries/Covid etc

The 08 top 4 will be:

1) FCV
2) Richmond
3) Arlington
4) VDA

I think some didn’t like the coach. Other are Smart parents that knew the VSA team has the Exact same recruiting opportunities as the VDA. Post anything special or different the older VDA teams got that the VSA team didn’t?

Relative strengths of the teams (higher is better) when compared to one another. At least according to YSR, but take them with a grain of salt as they are not accurate down to that level of fidelity.
