War with Iran Part II

The fact that Witkoff, Kushner and Vance are the "negotiation team" is just a sad and sorry state of affairs.

Not enough is being said about this. It is beyond absurd that this is the negotiating team.

This 100%

Don the Con, listens to nobody but himself. It’s very dangerous to be “all-knowing” and think you’re the smartest person in every room you walk into. It’s even more dangerous to think you’re the smartest person in the room, when fact is you shouldn’t even be allowed in the room.

Agreed, and this isn’t going unnoticed by the rest of the world.

Just want to point out Trump keeps saying that us delegates (clueless Vance and two randos private citizens) are to land in Islamabad in hours.
Yet wh pool report gives no info on Vance’s departure, press assigned, nothing. What game is this???

I don’t know why Iran would bother showing up to this unserious clown show. They should continue pushing back until the US gets serious.

They aren’t. They made it clear they aren’t engaging in peace talks.
“Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson, Esmaeil Baghaei, at a weekly press briefing. “While claiming diplomacy and readiness for negotiations, the US is carrying out behaviours that do not in any way indicate seriousness in pursuing a diplomatic process,” he said.”

The US and Israel have violated both ceasefires immediately after agreeing to them. Iran has probably concluded the US and Israel will immediately violate any peace deal as well.

+1 I am wholly unqualified in the areas of politics, geopolitics, the military, economics, etc, and would STILL be a better president since I can admit I know nothing and would seek out the best experts in each of those areas necessary, and follow their advice. But Trump is completely incapable of that.

Iran wanted Vance to be part of the team still Vance was calling Bibi during negotiation.

The U.S. military is using sea drones to help clear the Strait of Hormuz of mines that might be lurking there, in a quiet effort to ease Iran’s stranglehold on the waterway and begin reopening it to commercial shipping.

Iran on Saturday closed the strait again and fired on at least two vessels to protest the American blockade of its ports. Earlier, it said any shippers allowed to cross must use new traffic lanes that swing by Iran’s coast, warning of mines in the main channels of the strait.

The military could do an initial scan for mines relatively quickly in the confines of the strait, military analysts said. After locating the mines, a second wave of sea robots could be sent out to destroy them by using explosives or by setting them off remotely.

“You can get a small channel in that area surveyed in days not weeks using Unmanned Underwater Vehicles,” said Kevin Donegan, a former U.S. Navy vice admiral and former commander of the U.S. Fifth Fleet based in the Gulf.

WSJ is not a credible source.

You are not a credible person. Too funny.

Wait a week and see what maga Trump Israeli propaganda in the WSJ turns out to be false and never mentioned again. WSJ is awful quiet about Trump market manipulations announcements.

Wow, are you sure about that? Troll harder.

Just post link to their parent site -NYPost.

That's incorrect. Dow Jones is their parent site. At any rate, the WSJ is a Pulitzer Prize winning paper. You can go back to your Mother Jones, Salon, Rolling Stone, MSNBC, TikTok, and of course, all your rando Twitter posters for your "news."

Dow Jones’s is now a division of Murdoch’s NewsCorp: https://newscorp.com/

Every time you’re proven wrong, you just continue moving the goalposts. You’ve been called out several times now, with receipts. Take the L and move along. Your trolling is stale and boring.

New poster but WSJ has had a critical lens on Trump for his entire 2nd term, particularly his abysmal economic policies.

Exactly. It’s always obvious these trolls don’t even read the WSJ or else they’d know this.

Source? Why would Iran have Vance there if he's just answering back to Netanyahu

“In his latest Truth Social post, US president Donald Trump said the country would not lift its blockade of Iranian ports until Iran has agreed to a deal.

“THE BLOCKADE, which we will not take off until there is a ‘DEAL,’ is absolutely destroying Iran,” Trump wrote.

“They are losing $500m Dollars a day, an unsustainable number, even in the short run,” he said.

In a separate post, he criticised the US media – naming the “failing” New York Times, the “disgusting” Wall Street Journal and the “almost defunct” Washington Post. He accused these outlets of sabotaging the US war effort by causing Tehran to be “confused”.

Oh honey it’s you that are confused, bumbling old man

Iran holds all the cards and now Trump is big mad
