What out of state GJ is this referring to? Is there one in DC or NJ still working on the docs case?

The one that Smith convened in DC for the documents case in Florida.

Yeah Cannon seems unaware that a DC grand jury had been investigating the documents case which Smith then filed in SDFL to the surprise of many, because that’s where most of the alleged crimes had been occurring.

So, you think you know more than the judge?
LOL. Evidently, she has seen evidence that he convened a GJ in DC for the charges he brought in FL.
He has some "splaining to do.

How the eff did we get stuck with her?
Can't Smith get rid of her?
She's so biased. And she seems dumb.
Does she really think her BS will go by unnoticed.
She was trashed by the appeals court, mostly Trump appointees. She should be disbarred.

I guess you are unaware of Jack Smith's track record.
(Hint: It really isn't something to be proud of. He is the one that is dumb.)

Yes dear, we know you only know about one case that Smith ever tried. Good luck with thinking he’s dumb.

Hint: you don't really know what you're talking about.

It's legal and they will surely argue that this grand jury was already knee deep in the relevant material.

The bigger issue in the note you cited is that Nauta is represented by a lawyer who could have big conflicts of interest. Some of his clients could end up testifying against Nauta.

The documents were taken from DC to Florida and agencies in DC were trying to get them back, so it isn’t hard to explain why there is DC investigation and testimony even to a Trump appointed judge.

Also not hard to explain what the DC GJ is likely still doing. Nauta and perhaps others lied to them and they might indict him for it. Nothing wrong with that at all. Charges of lying to DC GJ can only be brought in DC.

Trump’s lawyers have been racking up a ton of L’s the last couple of years. They’ve specialized in it.

Thank you, pp. I don't think the liberals here know how many "high profile" cases this guy has lost.

Well then you guys have nothing to worry about. Wonder why Trump is having a multi day meltdown on his failing social media network.

Aileen Cannon? The one who got smacked down HARD by the conservative 11th Circuit on the Trump warrant case?

Occam's Razor says she's an idiot.

Now, the DOJ has to in writing explain to the Judge why a Grand Jury in Maryland is seated for a criminal case in Florida. The case should be dismissed with prejudice so they can't recharge Trump with the same charges.

If a DC grand jury indicted him in the docs case, then why does the indictment say Southern District of Florida on it?

Grand Jury Rule 6(e)(3)(C) allows one Grand Jury to hear evidence from another.

So now smith has to submit in writing in a way that educates Canon without insulting her?
Or will he just insult her?
