All of which Gaza has. Well, jihadists burned the water park down because they were upset men and women could swim together.

Can you please cite some sources and pictures of all these “amenities?” If jihadists burned the water park down how is it still on your list?

From what few pictures I could find from your links, these look like Soviet era “luxury” amenities. Seriously get a life sitting in your Bethesda McMansion justifying genocide.

I never said they were up to Western standards.

But you all act as though Gaza had absolutely nothing. It’s simply not true.

What standard of living is low enough for you to understand people supporting or participating in violent resistance?

Seriously?

That link to the water park in Gaza lists 3 water slides — for 2 million people. That would be if my neighborhood pool was for all of DC and NOVA.

It’s insane that you think this proves anything except they already lived very difficult lives.

If Gaza has nothing, people like you complain about them wasting all the aid and support and having no entrepreneurial skills.

When they have a few pleasures, you say “oh it’s not that brutal, look at their “equestrian club.”

Either way you just want to bomb them to oblivion so cut to the chase.

I never said I want to bomb them into oblivion. Stop putting words in my mouth.

I’m simply demonstrating that Hamas uses its tunnels to get materials in to build these places for themselves. They could have built up actual infrastructure, but did not.

It’s a point about Hamas and how they are not these freedom fighters you all make them out to be.

Gaza has been described as “hell on earth” by just about every NGO who has worked there in the last decade. And now it’s just rubble. So, what’s the end game here? Hamas maybe will be destroyed, but whoever rises up in their place will be many times worse, just like Hamas is worse than the PLO. Unless and until this apartheid is ended, neither Israelis nor Palestinians will know peace. Once Hamas is destroyed the immediate next step has to be a division into two states, or annexation of Palestine into Israel with full citizenship and right granted to all, or this just continues for another generation.

They had evidence of IDF forces operating from the apartment building.

Nice try, troll. That is not how the IDF operates.
Another apt. building hit in Tel Aviv this morning.
Hamas is really going for genocide.

That wasn’t at all the point I was making, but congrats for missing it entirely.

My point was about Hamas not being these poor freedom fighters and Gaza being a place where nothing gets in.

Hamas could have used these materials to build up infrastructure. They did not.

So Hamas has a low standard of living (lol sure) and that’s why they engage in violent resistance? Is that what you’re trying to say?

Well maybe if Hamas collapsed the building and trapped these people it would be close to a whatabout. Israelis are targeting civilians blowing up hospitals, churches, school, aid supplies, etc. They have leveled most of north Gaza trapping civilians under the rumble. What religion would condone such violence against helpless civilians?

Israel is setting the rules that civilians are fair game.

They’ve been leveling Palestinian homes long before October.

I don’t understand the outrage that their adversary is following their lead.

So they should have been smuggling in items to build infrastructure for
millions? Do you even hear yourself? It’s like asking why didn’t the American slaves use their tools to build their own infrastructure? They didn’t. But occasionally they used their farm implements to ride up and kill their masters.

Your arguments are ridiculous. You have no concept of the difference between these small facilities and what it takes to build up infrastructure. You are implying they have to literally have nothing in order to be truly oppressed. It's pretty offensive.

You’re comparing Hamas to American slaves??! Listen to yourself.

Hamas is an enormously wealthy organization funded by Iran with leaders living in Qatar. They are NOTHING like American slaves.

The reality of living conditions in Gaza is that the vast majority of Palestinians live in poverty. And, this is because Hamas, the people who govern Gaza, confiscate any funds provided for the people. They do not work to make living conditions better for the populace. Instead, they use those funds to build tunnels and bombs to continue their terrorist ways.

And, the leaders of Hamas live in luxury in Qatar and Turkey - far from the danger the people in Gaza are exposed to.
