Why don’t the universities just disinvest?
How difficult is that?

That guy? One guy?

They ALL need to be arrested. That entire vicious mob. That one scene at UCLA last night contained more violence by counter-protesters than the combined violence of ALL protesters across the country over the past few weeks.

An almost perfect reflection of what occurred in the Middle East leading up to the establishment of Israel.

Then and now, the major problem - by a mile - is the violent, vicious Zionists.

And yet crickets from the “anti-semitism is the real problem in society” mouthpieces doing the bidding of their corrupt masters, and forgetting that they serve the American people - all of them.

I doubt the mob at UCLA even had any position on Israel. They’re just pissed that they are blocked from campus.

Blocked from campus? Are you for real?

Is that how you act when the line is “too long” at the grocery store or the post office. You get pissed and then start viciously attacking the clerk and the other customers who are not doing enough to prevent you from getting pissed? Nice accountability.

Uncivilized animals, is what they are.

Some universities have sister school programs in Israel and Israel is a leader in pharma and medicine (maybe others, those are the ones I know off the top of my head).

Also, divesting is a moral or political statement - if you don't agree with it, then you shouldn't do it.

So you're unaware of the barricades that the pro-Hamas encampment erected, including metal and wood barriers?

Because the very significant Israeli lobbying arm that controls politicians and donations to Universities won’t let them.

So basically, because Israel is a calling the shots at American colleges.

Because people can decide for themselves what they believe is the right thing to do. You are not in charge.

Ok, some!
What about the rest
Even so, how is the sister school program so impossible to get out of

So, if Brown invests in Palestinian interests, will they hold a Palestine divestment vote too? Palestine has been committing internationally condemned war crimes for decades, not including 10/7.

If that makes you happy. You should know that there is nothing to divest from in the Palestinian territories.

Is it time to cut the cord and defund aipac?
I am not sure if aipac is good for America or for Israel. All it seems to do is fund the right wing support for the famous prime minister for life

Students are asking schools to divest but they also ultimately want the US to divest from Israel. At that point, will they also want the US to divest from Palestine?

Somehow, I don't think that would make them happy.

Arrest them all. Protesters and counter protesters.

Of course! I’m sure that’s a delightful outcome in your mind because you desperately want attention diverted from Israel’s atrocities ASAP, right?

Let me guess? You think the protester standing there before getting viciously attacked should face the same charges as the vicious mob that tried to kill him? Or wait - you probably think he deserves more serious charges, right? He asked for it by protesting, right?

The people who share your views cannot be reasoned with - it’s become so evident over the past seven months, after years of just ignoring the problem.
