This Is Us final season

Lol a wedding toast that is more like a funeral. Par for the course in This Is Us Trying to Make You Cry. Are you crying yet? ARE YOU? Look, we’ll even give Miguel a disease! How about now?

+1. Also the parts with Miguel. Hair drama = boring and contrived. Kate and Phillip = blah, who cares. Kevin = bunch of attempts to trick us, again who cares.

Mere weeks left, and this is what we’re getting? So disappointing.

Why were Kevin’s kids, baby mom and her new hubby in the family picture, but Jack and Haley were MIA?

I think Sophie and Kevin just talk, but she reveals she’s unsatisfied in her marriage, and then feels awkward about it the next day, hence the awkward glances. Cassidy also probably is nothing. Maybe the wedding singer is a hookup, but it goes nowhere. He’s exhausted because he basically got no sleep wandering around with all these chicks all night.

Kevin either ends up single, or eventually Sophie gets divorced, moves back to the ‘Burgh, and they rekindle their relationship in the future.

Weird that Sophia would have attended the wedding alone, doubtful her husband wouldn't have made every effort to be there given her history with Kevin. I think it turns out they've split and Kevin doesn't know until the end of the event. Anyway I think it's either Sophie or no-one at this point. But agree with everyone that the writing this season has mostly been terrible, with this ep probably the pinnacle of terrible.

I agree it's probably Sophie or no-one.

During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Justin Hartley discussed how Kevin’s love story would end in This Is Us. And he might have even given hope to fans who want Kevin and Sophie to be together.

“I don’t think everyone’s going to be happy necessarily,” the actor teased. “Every single person is not going to be like, ‘That’s what I wanted.’ Some people will want something different. I mean, because it could be that he just ends up with no one … People are going to have their own reasons for why they believe what they believe.”

He continued, “But whether you get what you want or you don’t get what you want, I think it’s going to be very satisfying, and you’re going to understand what happened, and you’re going to say, ‘Well, that makes a lot of sense.'”

“I think there’s a big percentage of people that want Kevin to be with Sophie,” Hartley shared. “I also think there’s a big percentage of people that don’t want that because they’re like, ‘Jesus, how many times are these guys going to get together and ruin each other’s lives?’ But I would say that the debate is usually Madison or Sophie. And it’s hard to beat a love interest that you’ve had from five years old.”

This show jumped the shark a few seasons ago. But this episode was the nail in the coffin. What the hell was that?! Trash.

All they did was play the theme song to the show and that was the episode. Who writes this? And Kate and Phillip have the chemistry of water and oil.

The silver lining in this terrible season is that I’m so over these characters that I won’t miss the show that much once it’s gone.

new Mandy Moore interview:

Rebecca also said she believed Kevin would work things out with whom viewers are led to believe is Sophie. Why does she feel so strongly about them reuniting despite them taking different life paths?

I think Rebecca's condition makes it so she's stuck in the past with a younger version of Kevin and Sophie, but her belief in their strength their love and as a couple transcends time.

Yes! More Deja, and Tess! (Annie just doesn’t have a solid storyline).

So funny, she was going to draw it on Kevin’s notepad then they discovered the poem/a lady had been in the room.

Young Kate was hilarious making fun of her moms hair. “She’s upset because she looks like HeMan” 🤣
