So you think all the Jews in Israel should go where? Come on now, have the courage of your convictions.

Who cares where they go? They displaced many families with their "settlers."

Since you are being so blunt, I will be blunt as well, first by prefacing that I am not Jewish (latina immigrant) and up until recently was very against what Israel has done by actions or omissions to the Palestinians, especially in the WB.

Since October 7 and reading posts like yours, I confess I don’t give a f*ck about Palestinians and their plight in Gaza.

I find it very hard to believe that 2 million people living in such a small territory don’t know who their Hamas militants are and where they hide.

If they want to end this conflict they can storm the castle so to speak and overpower Hamas insurgents (kill them or deliver them to Israel), liberate the hostages and take control.

Then I go back to supporting their cause and, hopefully, send Israelis settlers in the WB back to Israel and let the UN run the place until they can self-support and self-govern.

Meanwhile, while none of that is done, I don’t care, at all, about what happens to them during the war. They are complicit with Hamas.

No one wants them, not even other Muslim states.

So because of some awful posts people make online you are going to ignore the tragedy of what is going on in Gaza.

You can have your reasons for justifying what Israel is doing. People have called the deaths collateral damage.

But to call everyone in Gaza complicit is actually quite cruel. I mean we are talking about infants, children, humanitarian workers, journalists, everyday Joes. They are not all complicit. There are innocents in Gaza and shame on you for disregarding that based on some dumb social media posts.

This conflict has really opened my eyes about the radicalization of so many college students.

I used to dismiss the talk of "wokism." I am an independent who has voted mostly for Democrats.

But I can not ignore what I am seeing on college campuses. My kids are a few years off from college, but there is no way I would let them go to my alma mater -- one of these schools with a very vigorous pro-Hamas SJP.

And it is absolutely terrifying the number of medical professionals who have posted gleefully on social media about the attacks on Israel, celebrating Hamas.

They iare not doing the Arab-American community any favors.

It isn’t just kindergarten. Even grown adults and teens are proudly racist in Israel

For me, personally, Arabs are something I can’t look at and can’t stand,” a 10th-grade girl from a high school in the central part of the country says in abominable Hebrew. “I am tremendously racist. I come from a racist home. If I get the chance in the army to shoot one of them, I won’t think twice. I’m ready to kill someone with my hands, and it’s an Arab. In my education I learned that ... their education is to be terrorists, and there is no belief in them. I live in an area of Arabs, and every day I see these Ishmaelites, who pass by the [bus] station and whistle. I wish them death.”

It is NOT radicalization

It is being concerned about how Israel stomps on the Palestinians

It is just like how South Africa was treated in the 80’s

Israel deserves the same

As a Jewish Zionist who has witnessed for 40+ years how their neighboring Muslim counties have abandoned and rejected the Gazans, used them as pawns, and cared zero about them (even though they are ethnically no different and share the same religion with a tie to Jordan and Egypt), I am heartbroken that anyone would tell them to rise up against Hamas. No one would say that to the North Koreans, to the Russians, to the Venezuelans (to rise up against their oppressor) -- of course not -- it is victim blaming.

They cannot rise up against Hamas. The US and Israel must do it for them. The only thing they can do is move South as well as they can if they are in good enough health and protect themselves, and not blame the US and Israel for taking their own plight on their behalf.

Just as strongly as I believe in the right of America, Europe, Israel and other democracies to exist, I believe that it is wrong to blame the Gazans (literally the victims of Hamas) to be living in a non-democracy. I'm sure they prefer democracy too.

Please keep your humanity. Please remember that the Gazans are innocent pawns in the game of Jordan and Egypt. If you don't know the history, it was posted by another DCUMer:

https://stanfordreview.org/deception-palestinian-nationalism/

Until Jordan and Egypt shows humanity to Gazans, the one who will have to help their Muslim brothers eliminate Hamas is the IDF in the Jewish State of Israel.

And there you have it.

I dare anyone to find a group of students at a mainstream American college who support Israel saying they don't want the Palestinians to exist, and they don't want the pot-Palestinian protesters to exist.

Shut it! Israel in its current form should not exist! There you have it! It is not antisemitism, it is not anti jewish. The state of Israel in its current form is a cancer! The world and jews would have been better off if Israel never existed. The creation of a Jewish state in the middle of the Arab world not only represents the continuation of European colonialism in Palestine, it has also consisted of the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians and the establishment of an apartheid system by a rogue nation that has repeatedly violated international law.

Given this history, the repeated claim made by the United States and other Western nations that Israel’s military actions are merely acts of self-defense contradicts the reality on the ground. Surely it is the violence carried out by people forced to live under a violent illegal military occupation and blockade that should be considered an act of self-defense. After all, the French Resistance to the Nazi occupation of France during World War Two is viewed as a heroic struggle for national liberation. In stark contrast, Palestinian resisters are labelled ‘terrorists.’
Despite the best efforts of the United States and other Western governments as well as the mainstream media to portray Israel as the victim in this conflict, the numbers make evident who is doing most of the killing and who is doing most of the dying. The fact that a people forced to live under an illegal foreign military occupation are portrayed as the aggressors constitutes a stunning example of Orwellian doublespeak.

Sweet tantrum! And the quiet part gets said out loud.

Congratulations, you’re a terrorist.

And if you need a primer on the differences between Hamas and the French partisans of WWII, lmk.

I mean, labels are pointless at this point. Bibi is a terrorist, too, and anyone who supports him is a terrorist, as well. The fact that he stumbles around in a poorly-fitted suit with a smirk on his face, while his dirty work is being done by the great-grandchildren of settlers from places like the Ukraine and Brooklyn, using subsidized US weapons and technology - yeah, that doesn't absolve him at all for his share of foundational blame here. Unnecessary loss of life is tragic, wherever it occurs. That means on 10/7 and for 115 years prior, and certainly for the past nearly three weeks.

I support neither side in this lopsided battle over sand and oil. Spare me the talk of holy lands ...

But above all else, stop trying to bamboozle others into thinking the State of Israel was formed by peaceful, indigenous settlers who were just looking for a friendly welcome wagon greeting from their new neighbors. Wind the clock back another 40 - 50 years to get up to speed on why we are where we are today.

Yawn.
What is reality. It is important to live in reality. The independent, existing, nation-state of Israel, isn't going anywhere. It exists.
