I’m a nobody but I have a system that is much more precise than that - it at least would be able to tell me the exact time a person was on my driveway; what time they were at the door; and what time the door was opened, with supporting video that goes to an app.

+1 She did not have enough supports in place for someone of her age and health issues living alone on that property. .

Even if true, what does that have to do with her being kidnapped??? The elderly don't get support to deter kidnappers, as far as I know.

All this says is nobody should sleep alone. That's not really practical to prevent this type of completely bizarre and unusual crime.

She sounds different today like she still believes her mother is alive.

Having a strong, healthy caregiver or companion who's mobile without a cane can do much to help when a break-in occurs or prevent one from happening. .

Caregivers are paid next to nothing. You cannot expect them to body guards.

Yeah I just don't think having a caregiver as bodyguard is the answer here. By that logic, every old person would need one.

Yeah sure. They aren’t bodyguards.

Nobody this old and disabled should be living alone in a relatively huge million dollar home. They are a sitting duck for opportunistic violent criminals, financial scams, and killing themselves in a fall and dying in agony.

It’s better than those bizarre scripted speeches that did nothing. Maybe they are taking matters into their own hands.

They can call 911. They can run faster. They can make sure alarm is on. Two people better than one.

You can’t force someone to live with someone if they don’t want to. Nancy is not incompetent.

I unfortunately do not interpret her new video to suggest she has received new information that her mother is alive.

I think that it would really help whatever investigation is going on to find the body. Either that will give them additional evidence they need. Or maybe the ransom didn't pan out and they feel back to square one a bit. Isn't it due in a few hours?

Can everyone stop saying “million dollar home” like that means something any more. I live in a 1992 4br colonial with zero updates other than paint that is worth “a million dollars.” I assure you we are not living large over here.
