Obama owes Israel nothing. He tried to warn them many times but Netanyahu wanted to align with Putin. Now the backlash and blowback from that terrible decision is in his face . Putin was never to be trusted

Shut it! Israel in its current form should not exist! There you have it! It is not antisemitism, it is not anti jewish. The state of Israel in its current form is a cancer! The world and jews would have been better off if Israel never existed. The creation of a Jewish state in the middle of the Arab world not only represents the continuation of European colonialism in Palestine, it has also consisted of the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians and the establishment of an apartheid system by a rogue nation that has repeatedly violated international law.

Given this history, the repeated claim made by the United States and other Western nations that Israel’s military actions are merely acts of self-defense contradicts the reality on the ground. Surely it is the violence carried out by people forced to live under a violent illegal military occupation and blockade that should be considered an act of self-defense. After all, the French Resistance to the Nazi occupation of France during World War Two is viewed as a heroic struggle for national liberation. In stark contrast, Palestinian resisters are labelled ‘terrorists.’
Despite the best efforts of the United States and other Western governments as well as the mainstream media to portray Israel as the victim in this conflict, the numbers make evident who is doing most of the killing and who is doing most of the dying. The fact that a people forced to live under an illegal foreign military occupation are portrayed as the aggressors constitutes a stunning example of Orwellian doublespeak.

Jfc by your logic Gaza in its current form with Hamas, backed by Iran and other terrorist ground; in charge and miles of fortified underground tunnels used to spread terrorism also is a cancer that should not exist. See how this works both ways? So what now? At least displaced Jews - as many on here hatefully point out - tend to assimilate and become productive members of society (see many many posts about how Jews should stop playing victim) whereas see post about Denmark. It so NOT the Jewish diaspora calling for the annihilation of Palestine and Muslim Palestinians. Jews aren’t setting mosques and ME embassies on fire. Pro Palestinian protesters are:
Also remember 15m Jews - 2 billion Muslims.

Bwaaaaaa!

You mean the 1929 Hebron massacre? Or the Safed massacre?

You mean the Iraqi Jews who were killed in the Farhud?

Or how fatherless Jewish children in Yemen were forced to convert to Islam, even if their mothers were alive?

Or the 1933 anti-Jewish riots in Aden where Jews were stoned to death?

You know NOTHING. Just because you can type the word Mizrahi doesn't mean you know jack.

All post Zionism.

I have done the research. Do you know Brits, Arabs, and Zionists were in cahoots to kick out Mizrahis to Israel in order for Arabs to have Arab states and Israelis to have Israel?

Every Jewish pogrom in the Middle East was post Ottoman Empire control. The Ottoman Empire which reigned for 500 years was very kind to Jews and Arabs but that didn’t stop both from “rebelling” in favor of the British in Mandatory Palestine in order to get nationhood /independence

Doubling down on ignorance, huh?

451 -- Persian ruler Yazdegerd II forbids shabbat and orders the execution of Jewish leaders

624 -- 600 Jews decapitated in Medina (Saudi Arabia) in a single day

807 -- Jews in Caliphate ordered to wear yellow badges (no, the Nazis did not invent this)

1165-- forced mass conversions in Yemen

1333 -- forced mass conversions in Baghdad

1517 -- Pogrom in Hebron (West Bank)

1619-- Jews in Persia (Iran) forced to convert

It goes on and on.

ok thanks for making yourself clear. where should all the Jews in Israel go? And perhaps if Hamas did not want to be portrayed as an aggressor it should not have slaughtered a bunch of civilians.

Where do the muslims go? Where do the christians go? The atheists? We are scattered all over the world and we are not complaining a religious or atheist state. If they want to stay in Palestine, they can but they will need to leave their settlements. The UK and the US can figure out how and where to house them since they created and supported this mess

Who cares where they go? They displaced many families with their "settlers."

Well at least now you’re being honest.

So you want to displace 7 million Jewish Israelis and you don’t care where they go.

We know exactly where she wants them to go.

They are equating Israel's war-like (justified war in reality) actions against Gaza as another Holocaust (or the Holocaust, not sure if they believe in the real Holocaust).

When I see these posts on social media "Stop the Gaza Genocide" along with "I support Palestine," what does that mean? Does that mean they are against Hamas or against Israel? And are who are they accusing of perpetuating a genocide and who are the victims?

Why wouldn't they include Israel in their support? "I support the people of Gaza" or something more inclusive.

It means they think Israel is committing genocide.

None of this is Ottoman Empire Middle East. Fact is Jews and Arabs stabbed the Turks who treated both well in the back for the British. They believed in an anti semite colonizer regime To liberate them from Turks and support Arab and Jewish nationalism . They both got played

Oh my God, you are insufferable!

Here's a partial list of atrocities Jews endured under the Ottoman Empire, happy?

Throughout the 1860s, the Jews of Libya were subjected to punitive taxation.

In 1864, around 500 Jews were killed in Marrakech and Fezin Morocco.

In 1869, 18 Jews were killed in Tunis, and an Arab mob looted Jewish homes and stores, and burned synagogues, on Jerba Island.

In 1875, 20 Jews were killed by a mob in Demnat, Morocco; elsewhere in Morocco, Jews were attacked and killed in the streets in broad daylight.

In 1891, the leading Muslims in Jerusalem asked the Ottoman authorities in Constantinople to prohibit the entry of Jews arriving from Russia.

In 1897, synagogues were ransacked and Jews were murdered in Tripolitania.

An important instance of anti-Semitism around this time was the Damascus affair, in which many Jews in Damascus (which was then under the leadership of Muhammad Ali of Egypt) were arrested after being accused of murdering the Christian Father Thomas and his servant in an instance of blood libel. While the authorities under Sharif Pasha, Egyptian governor of Damascus, tortured the accused until they confessed to the crime, and killed two Jews who refused to confess, prominent European Jews such as Adolphe Crémieux demanded the release of the condemned

One potent symbol of Jewish degradation was the phenomenon of stone-throwing at Jews by Muslim children.

This is what you call "kind."

Since you are being so blunt, I will be blunt as well, first by prefacing that I am not Jewish (latina immigrant) and up until recently was very against what Israel has done by actions or omissions to the Palestinians, especially in the WB.

Since October 7 and reading posts like yours, I confess I don’t give a f*ck about Palestinians and their plight in Gaza.

I find it very hard to believe that 2 million people living in such a small territory don’t know who their Hamas militants are and where they hide.

If they want to end this conflict they can storm the castle so to speak and overpower Hamas insurgents (kill them or deliver them to Israel), liberate the hostages and take control.

Then I go back to supporting their cause and, hopefully, send Israelis settlers in the WB back to Israel and let the UN run the place until they can self-support and self-govern.

Meanwhile, while none of that is done, I don’t care, at all, about what happens to them during the war. They are complicit with Hamas.

No one wants them, not even other Muslim states.

Federal employees have better protection for private speech than private employees do. This is well settled.

I have a heard a number of survivors of 10/7 say how much they have wanted and worked for peace between Israel and Palestine. These are people who watched their family get murdered, tortured, and kidnapped. And they still talk about peace. I’m waiting for some Palestinians to say the same.

Yeah, maybe. A lot of people are losing their jobs. It's tricky b/c U.S. govt workers have some of the most protected speech in the country -- speech is protected if:

They are speaking as a private citizen.
Their speech pertains to a matter of public concern, such as a social, political or community matter.
Their interest in speaking freely outweighs the government employer's interest in efficiently fulfilling its public services.

That last one is key. If you advocate for the slaughter of a certain population you will probably be fired for not being able to fulfill the agency's public mission.
