Why would you give him the benefit of the doubt? Leopard, spots, and all. She asked him to account for money spent on other women during their marriage in the divorce proceedings.

I guess I give him the benefit of the doubt because he'd have to be a total moron to repeat the all mistakes of his first marriage. This time around he got a prenup for instance. One would hope he also learned to stay faithful. But then again he's not known for his brains.

Why would that cause you to give him the benefit of the doubt? Barring an infidelity clause, he made absolutely certain he could do what he liked and suffer very little financially as a result. The payout for nearly 20 years and three kids was insulting. But it's crystal clear how miserable she was to want out, at the expense of the uber-luxurious lifestyle. Have you ever heard an interview with him? He exudes arrogance. I sincerely doubt he knows how to be a good, loyal partner, or cares much. My guess is that it had much less to do with age than with simple lack of care and attention.

In interviews he stated he didn't want to remarry, made it seem like a big favor to her. That dynamic probably carried throughout the marriage.
