only just, he turned 70 this year

I'm in my 40s and find him hot. Some guys like him, Pierce Brosnan, Paul Newman back in the day, are just hot even older. Christine's new dh is nowhere near as good looking.

Yea it’s not looks. Things change for men in their 60s and 70s. I’ll be happy to go on that journey with my DH if we are lucky enough to live that long. But I don’t want to be with a man in his 70s while I’m in my 40s or 50s. Apparently Christine didn’t either.

That's nice, dear. Enjoy your sh*t shack in PG county with your fat and bald fed hubby. And whomever Kevin dates will enjoy a $150 mil compound in Carpinteria and an A-list movie star lifestyle.

...and his 160-acre luxury ranch in Aspen, Colorado.

Not worth it to me to bone an old dude while I’m in my 40s but clearly mileage varies on this one.

I doubt any middle aged mums in the DC region care about Costner to such a degree, let alone with such spirited disdain. Was the gold digging ex-wife and/or her reps deploying online smear tactics like we've seen detailed in those Blake Lively lawsuits? Sure seems like it.

Are you new here? This is the entertainment forum. The whole point is for people to post opinions and discuss gossip about celebs.

The conspiracy theories are a bit much . Kevin Costner is in the twilight of his career. Do you really think he’s paying people to go to a random mommy website in the DC area to post maybe a couple of dozen posts that he’s not old and not a cheater? To what end? Or conversely that his ex-wife is trying to salvage her reputation in the DC area? She’s not even an entertainer and she just married a wealthy financier plus she did fine in the divorce financially. I doubt she cares what anyone thinks.

It makes no sense.

Gold digging doesn’t really work when the dude is cheap with his partners. He’s prob never going to get married again so what does a younger woman get in exchange? A few years of staying in someone else’s house? That’s how you end up like Tiger wood’s ex girlfriend.

Online smearing is not about DC moms, it's about using bots and employees and juke search engines and AI. The baseless smearing was nearly all ANTI-Costner.

PP doesn’t understand how the internet works. This site isn’t just accessed by moms in DC.

Until they get put out like yesterday’s trash and the newer model takes over.

Come on, that’s the main demographic. And look at the engagement on this thread compared to the entire Internet. This is not even a speck in the grand scheme of things. One thread that’s probably going to be buried and never resurrected in the next few days on an anonymous site is not going to change minds.

Kevin’s ex-wife likely walked away with tens of millions. I really don’t think she’s spending any of that to smear Kevin. just silly. And I’ll repeat my question, to what end? She’s not in entertainment and is not trying to refresh a career. She just remarried a non-celebrity. She’s going to go on to have a private life. She gains nothing from having a few moms speculate about her ex-husband.

He's leaving his assets to his 7 kids not wife #3. This is not a Gene Hackman situation. Plus his Horizon films flopped, he's washed up. Maybe someone would be interested in living the good life for a decade or so. But then what?

No, it just means they are both horrible people. No surprise.

Kevin is the victim here. Lost a wife, lost a fake buddy. Devastating betrayal.

Here is the world's tiniest violin playing for KC. He humiliated his first wife with plenty of cheating himself. What goes around comes around.

He never stopped cheating, don't be fooled.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that (maybe) he behaved during his last marriage, but he sure as hell moved on very quickly. He will remarry to someone even younger than CB.

Why would you give him the benefit of the doubt? Leopard, spots, and all. She asked him to account for money spent on other women during their marriage in the divorce proceedings.

I guess I give him the benefit of the doubt because he'd have to be a total moron to repeat the all mistakes of his first marriage. This time around he got a prenup for instance. One would hope he also learned to stay faithful. But then again he's not known for his brains.

Why would that cause you to give him the benefit of the doubt? Barring an infidelity clause, he made absolutely certain he could do what he liked and suffer very little financially as a result. The payout for nearly 20 years and three kids was insulting. But it's crystal clear how miserable she was to want out, at the expense of the uber-luxurious lifestyle. Have you ever heard an interview with him? He exudes arrogance. I sincerely doubt he knows how to be a good, loyal partner, or cares much. My guess is that it had much less to do with age than with simple lack of care and attention.

In interviews he stated he didn't want to remarry, made it seem like a big favor to her. That dynamic probably carried throughout the marriage.
