ICE Shooting in Minneapolis

Do not antagonize law enforcement officers beyond peaceful protests that do not interfere with officers in the performance of their duties

What duties? They were going from lunch back to HQ.

Did they scrub Kristi Noem’s 1st press conference transcript? Didn’t she say they were off duty, heading back to HQ, and getting a snack? Anyone hear it first hand? I swear I heard or read it. Others did too.

Of course not. Because I have ZERO confidence in ICE agents. Is that what you want??? For people to have zero faith in federal agents??

I am a middle-aged white female American citizen and I would be MUCH more frightened in an encounter with ICE agent than with any immigrant.

I wouldn’t even let my family members stay at a Hilton.

Please be aware: this video contains distressing scenes.

It is chilling to see how nonchalantly he re-holsters his gun and just walks away. Real law enforcement officers are trained to immediately render aid. There is no urgency from any of these agents to render aid to the victim. I work in a law enforcement adjacent position and regularly review body cam footage from critical incidents. I have never once seen a situation where a police officer shoots someone and doesn't immediately check for a pulse and/or render aid. This was a cold blooded murder and he deserves to be in jail.

He didn’t even check to see if the car hit an occupied vehicle. Was this guy even an agent?

Nevermind my fault for not reading the article. She had a first husband, the second husband is the one who passed.

Yes ICE is now killing whoever they want with impunity. No one's safe from them.

The officer in this case will be imprisoned eventually and rightfully so

This is why the 2nd amendment exists. ICE today is a completely out of control government agency of poorly trained thugs that are blowing away American citizens at will. That is unacceptable. And the Founders added this amendment so that citizens can fight back against a violent, authoritarian government.

The ICE officer made a split second decision after being hit by the deceased moving vehicle.

1. Not hit.

2. Before the alleged hit.

The videos show otherwise.

Oh?

There was no "jumping in front of the car".

The ICE agents were preparing to arrest the decedent. The ICE officer shooter had walked in front of the car, which was going in reverse, preparing to arrest her. The victim suddenly placed the car in drive, hit the accelerator in a reckless fashion, then hit the ICE agent with her vehicle (Honda Pilot).

One point of view is that the reckless driver attempting to escape law enforcement officers presented a danger to the community especially so after hitting an ICE agent with her SUV.

Unfortunately, people will interpret the video as they wish to support their political leanings.

Lawyers - do ICE agents have jurisdiction to arrest a someone for blocking a street lane? I am asking out of genuine curiousity.

Yes. Obstruction of justice; obstruction of a law enforcement officer in the performance of his/her duties.

Other cars went around her without problem. Why did this one stop and shoot her? What "justice" was being conducted by the officer that shot her at that time?

The highly aggressive manner in which the driver of the pickup approached her vehicle was startling - I could easily imagine someone in her shoes legitimately fearing for her life (from this non-informed individual attacking her) and just trying to get away to safety.

Why is she using her car to block and decide who gets by? is she in charge of traffic?

What does it matter? How does that even justify the second and third shots through the driver’s side window?

Trump’s FBI is hiding evidence.

Surprise.

If not the 1st shot, the 2nd and 3rd shots will send the idiot trigger happy officer to prison. This officer is an embarrassment to the law enforcement community. His reckless behavior is the type of behavior that puts real cops in danger every day.
