I’m not computer savvy so I don’t understand what I’m about to repeat, but I heard they refuted any possibility of remoting in and were able to prove the downloads were done at a time they have photos of Josh at the computer while they were surveilling him.
Yes the computer specialist (?) they had in yesterday proved it all.
Josh had MESSAGES to his WIFE "still at work" at the EXACT time that the images were being viewed.
Yes, I've read this before, but this is hardly the same as what the PP above was saying -- that the FBI has pics of him at his computer at tthat time bc he was under surveillance by the FBI.
I did read in one of the updates that a photo was presented that appeared to show Josh in the reflection of the computer screen. It was very confusing because it was just a short snippet from someone in court and never explained more. Was it him goofing around with his phone and accidentally snapping a photo of his monitor that the agents found while doing the forensic examination of his phone? I think that might have been it because the Agent who got the hit on the CP download said that her computer runs nonstop looking for pings and it was a few days after the CP had been downloaded that she saw it in the log/reports s on her machine.
I do know that in court they have laid out a very specific timeline like (this are not correct times, just an example) 4:47 pm: Tor accessed; 4:50 pm: CP download started; 4:50 pm: Josh Duggar's phone takes a photo of a paper note on his desk; 5:10 pm: CP files extracted; 5:15: Josh Duggar's phone took photo of a VIN number picture on the computer (which is also when there could have been a reflection of him); 5:20 pm: Josh Duggar texted Anna that he was still at work with a customer.
I'm in finance and remote into a certain PC each day when I work from home. We had to set it up this way when the pandemic hit because of security issues with people accessing the financial information from possibly unsecure locations. Anyway, it's like 6 people who have to remote into this PC. It's VERY obvious when I'm working remotely on the PC and someone else logs on. They take over control for a moment and then we are both fighting for control of the system until they realize someone else is using it. I've also been back in the office in person and seen what the PC looks like when someone else remotes into it. There's no way Josh could have sat there and NOT noticed someone remoting into his PC because they would be moving the cursor and changing the screens.
The fact that he had the audacity to not take the deal and go through with this trial is just fking astounding. I don't know what BS Jim Bob has fed him about his chances of getting off, but I don't think so. One person on Friday reported that after the jury was shown certain photos, they cried and others had tears in their eyes. The. Jury. Cried.
