Who do you think is going to win and why?

The wilder the posts here about Harris the most desperate I figure the Trumpies are, although I concede that is not a real measure

I just heard about the Puerto Rico thing tonight. It does not seem like a real story to me. There are precisely zero voters in this country who were leaning towards Trump but changed their minds upon getting some CNN anchor express concern about some bit performed by a comedian they've never heard of.

More generally, news coverage of the rally has felt like editorial content.

Well, whether you think it's real or not, it's real. And while you may be right about voters who already supported Trump, there are some who might not have voted against him (they might not have voted at all) but now they will.

This thing is over.

New Hampshire and Minnesota are within margin of error!

Atlas intel, by far the most accurate pollster in 2020 and 2024, has orange hitler winning 6 of 7 swing states and popular vote.

Maybe we should have had a chance to vote on our candidate.

The Trump camp seems to be mired in mass delusion of the sort not seen since Romney lost so badly.

Agree 100%.

I don't think polls really tell much of a story anymore. They are the story. Just another tool for the news media to write endless stories. What bothers me is that we've gotten to a point where the polling is treated as equivalent to the votes so people are surprised, and in the case of Trump supporters, they will be angry and some will be prone to violence.

There are a few wild (or wild-ish) cards in this race that I don't think are talked about enough - 1) women, and 2) disaffected Republicans.

I think women are voting in absolute droves against Trump/for Harris. Dobbs was a bridge too far. We've seen it in every state that's had a chance to decide. And look at the DeSantis administrations antics in trying to defeat this vote because they know they are going to lose. Even worse for the GOP, their entire abortion narrative of selfish sluts who are using it as birth control has been blown completely out of the water.

I don't think enough has been made of the whole Liz Cheney wing of the Republican party repudiating Trump. Not only that - people who SHOULD be out there on the stage with Trump at places like MSG, are absent The lineup at that rally was pathetic. Literally no one from his prior administration was on that stage. There's no one with you in the voting booth and there's a whole wing of the party that has just wanted Trump to go away, but he hasn't. Almost 10 years later and he's still running the party. I think these people have had enough and are realizing that this is kind of it - if they ever want to have power again, they are going to have to pull the lever for Harris.

Trump has destroyed his support across the country; he’s polling nowhere near where he did in 2020 and I think pollsters are still padding him to account for what happened in 2016.

This is what I thinking too. I wouldn't be surprised if all 7 of those battleground states go for Harris kind of like the red wave that never happened.

I’ve always been worried it is Trump, but then a relative who has never voted anything but Republican before and maintained she’d vote for Trump this time, called me today and said she voted Harris. She just said she couldn’t stand the thought of a bully like Trump representing our country abroad. That MSG the other night sealed the deal for her. I’m thinking there may be a lot more people like my aunt who end up voting Harris.

She will win there is no doubt
However SCOztUS and the House are the problem

The plan is to get red states not to certify any state with red legislatures won’t certify we will go to court scotus will install him

Our only chance is to vote them all out but not sure SCOTUS still won’t complete the coup

Trump. Dem Senate candidates think so too.

It’s always the Republican women that are brave. The men in that party need to take note.

Do you know any Republican women? We are not voting for Kamala - she is everything we do not want our daughters to be.

DP I do and they are voting for Harris because Trump is everything they've taught their daughters to fear.

DP and that’s what people said in 2016. People lie. They aren’t going to admit to you that they vote for Trump. They say what you want to hear.

I think it will be close and Trump will squeak out a win. At the end of the day money matters the most to people not gender and even though there is not proof or plan that Trump can make things better for them , they just want to believe things will get better.

If money matters then Trump is not your guy. His economic plans have already been shown by numerous experts to end up driving up inflation and costing working-class American households much more.

Yes, clearly you lie. You lie when you say Trump will make the economy better, because economists agree with you on that. You lie when you accuse Kamala Harris of using sex to get ahead, and when you accuse her of "selfish indulgence." And just because YOU like to lie a lot, doesn't mean that other women who say they are going to vote for Kamala Harris are lying and are actually going to secretly vote for Trump. You actually are the outlier. Most normal people aren't as pathologically weird and dishonest as you.

Trump. He has always exceeded his polls. And his polls are good. Not my choice, will be particularly horrible for me but that isn’t the question this thread asks.
