Stars 2028 is not that good. Some decent players, but basically NL but in VA.

I disagree with this. All it means is that they are god with parents dumb enough to drive hours upon hours, not that they are better

Maybe the MD parents are dumb, but 2028 in DC (will never use DMV - sorry) is not that good. Pride has some good players, Stars maybe one or two (and a bunch of psycho parents) and maybe a couple from the other teams. That does not bode well for Cap Blue or Orange for 2028. But absolutely love the lacrosse insanity on this thread. You all are special. Every last one of you.

Its way to early to tell who would,should and could be on capital. You may get some girls from southern va as well. I would also suspect that the coaches are also trying to find out who are going to be good teammates, are coachable and who are going to play for the team.

Im sure there are plenty of psycho parents at all the clubs including stars and pride. Example, how does one get the nickname great falls mafia.

Love the sarcasm! At this point this debate is stupid. Whether kids tryout or not is up to the kids and their parents. Lets just see how the fall season goes. I have a sneaking suspicion that Stars got better after tryouts and Pride did not.

Oh please. Everyone on this thread knows who SD is. Stars is the only team that can lay claim to that honor - an officially recognized moniker for one of your nuttier dads (but we know there are others).

I am sure that Capitals 28 Blue will draw 22 very athletic and talented players. There are 130-150 girls at tryouts every year!!! Do the Capitals 25 coaches take the 28s? (3 year cycle) Is that how it works ? The 25 B had a pretty good Fall and Summer. Top 5 ranking at Inside Lacrosse and USClubLax. 2024 B finished ranked 16th and 26 B finished ranked 11th. That's pretty damn good across the board for Capital, I'd say.

I disagree that Pride has “some” and Stars has “one or two” good players. Neither have any good players, but I’d say Stars has more above average players than Pride.
