Protests on college campuses

I find it very interesting that all apologists avoid addressing the vandalism when championing 1A rights on here.

And they are attacked by people who chanted they hate blacks… but they ALSO hate Jews- just not right then.
But what the hell! A brawls a brawl!

I don’t know who the protestors are who are setting up camps and tent cities. Perhaps the all hate Jews. But the vast majority of college kids who are pro Palestinian do not “hate Jews”, my Jewish kid included. Mostly they are upset about heartache of Gaza and our own culpability in that mess.

You are the company you keep.

You are not allow to just camp anywhere. These students are lawbreakers and should be arrested for trespassing and the school should expel them.

Damage property

Threaten others

Assault others

Prevent others from accessing public or private property

Prevent students from attending class

Be a total a-hole

None of that is peacefully protesting. They deserve to be arrested.

It’s shocking to me that our Supreme Court is currently mulling over a case that could criminalize homeless people for simply sitting or sleeping on the street yet these privileged Americans can wreak havoc, damage property, and directly impact others without consequence.

I am baffled as to why Americans are centering themselves in this war…so “American” to make it about themselves.

Embarrassing.

Maybe because America bankrolls the Israeli killing machine and Israel has made it clear they’ll pull every lever at their disposal to stifle any domestic criticism here. Since Israel destroyed every university in Gaza, it’s no surprise students in America with any conscience felt obligated to speak up against the Jewish murderers.

I get that.

But what I don’t get is how protesters can fixate on just one thing (war/killing of innocents) without recognizing the complexity of the situation (a terrorist government fueled by religious extremism hell bent on the destruction of Israel, Jews, America, the West, and everyone who doesn’t adhere to their wacky breed of religious extremism.

Practically speaking, what happens if Israel withdraws its troops and Netanyahu peaces out?

Billions would be pumped into Gaza for humanitarian aid and rebuilding and Hamas would claim victory, divert funds to rebuild tunnels and secure more weapons, and the terror would continue in Gaza and Israel.

If anyone thinks there is a simple solution you aren’t grasping the reality of the situation and the players.

You can pitch a tent pretty much anywhere in this country except on college campuses.

Its actually pretty simple. Palestinians are willing to live with Israelis in a single state, and Israelis are not willing to live with Palestinians in a single state. If Israel grants full rights to Palestinians, all this conflict ends in a generation.

It‘s an influence campaign run by China through TikTok. The same 12 year olds they convinced to eat TidePods are now being convinced to set themselves on fire for Palestine. Crazy

Dp- that’s delusional

Ugh. I believe most of the college protesters are sincere. But we’re seeing the chaotic results of 2 decades of “progressive” embrace of low-level and high-level political violence as an “organizing tactic.” But what’s the overall strategy, guys? You are not winning any hearts & minds.

I 100% blame the keyboard warrior class who during the George Floyd protests got people twitter mobbed and even fired for daring to question whether riots & arson are legitimate tactics for the left. And all those who lionized “punch a nazi” approaches. And college administrators who refused to establish clear norms for protest and regularly allowed kids to engage in bullying tactics like shouting down speakers they dislike. And the twitterati who taught these kids that saying things like “White women are the worst” is cute and edgy.

We’ve come to the utterly absurd place where if you dare to bring up MLK and nonviolence, you’re immediately deemed to be a racist who “wants us dead.”

We've haven't seen a civilian population bombed like this in decades and thanks to cell phone cameras, the footage is widely available

+1 I’m not sure that they are “willing to live with Israelis in a single state.” The anti-semitism and radicalization runs deep. And everyone knows Hamas is close with and funded by Iran … who is the only country who has “the destruction of the state of Israel” as a goal in its constitution.

Where is the video of protesters anywhere, on any campus, attacking anyone like this? This is nauseating. If you support this, honestly, the world is better off without people like you.

Not a Jew or a conservative and this is a good list. The only one I disagree with is the George Soros one. He hires intelligent and competent people.

It’s not about who he hires, it’s about who he directly and indirectly funds, and the documentation of that.
