Just pointing out that their financial situations are precarious, will be worse when the Queen dies and even worse off when Anne does. King George didn't give any significant inheritance to Margaret, neither did her own mother (to the grandchildren - Sarah and David). They had to sell her home and belongings for a reason. As for Zara and Peter, I will pay money to see who wins the drag-out fight of inheriting Anne's house. I think they both moved there just to stake a claim. They also have 5 kids between them. |
Small tip - there's a different between the advance and the profits. If the advance was $20 million, then the profits (or proceeds) would be anything beyond that. |
A year before. Charles' interview admitted to the adultery. Diana's interview brought it home and named the AP. |
Margaret was a spendthrift, so maybe her parents had good reasons not to leave her with a lot of money. And these are all able-bodied adults. They can work. As for Anne’s kids Gatcombe is large enough to house a whole village. ![]() |
Isn't it crazy that the contents of the book haven't even come out and the Karens are already out in full force screaming their heads off? |
Pretty much. I expect it. I find it amusing that the rota had no idea that this was coming, it was already finished, and its been under contract for a year without their knowledge. They said Harry couldn't get away from their intrusive #palacesources, he proved them wrong. I think the move to the U.S. is the best thing he could have done. |
So they left her and her children penniless? Wow - says a lot about the family, support and why Harry left. As for Gatcombe being huge - sure, they could go the Weasley route of 2 siblings, a spouse, ex-spouse, the new girlfriend, 5 kids under 10, the nannies, the maids, etc all living under one roof. I wonder who's going to be arrested for murder first? The ex-wife or the drunk husband? |
Peter is both the oldest child and the only son. Surely according to British aristo rules he should inherit everything? |
Yes his mother who he says he admires so would surely not admire what he has done to his sibling relationship and to his nephews and niece and cousins. Usually a red flag if someone upon meeting a love interest cuts off their entire family (and his spouse has as well (aside from her Mom)—seems to be her style). Huge red flag on his relationship to his wife. |
The bigger the estate the greater the maintenance costs. I highly doubt they will be able to cough up the funds to do so absent financial assistance from Charles to do so. I agree that they are able bodied adults and could theoretically support themselves but they don’t really seem particularly keen to do so. I know that Zara is a former Olympian and her husband is a former football or rugby player. But what are their current jobs? |
I think the funniest, the most spectacularly ridiculous claim to come out of Harry's mouth was the comparison he drew between Diana's fling with "nonwhite" Dodi and his marriage to Meghan. Like, my mother was hounded to death because she was in a relationship with a nonwhite person, and now they are doing the same and won't rest till Meghan is dead. Like, you dolt, do you understand that if this comparison were to hold, YOU'd be the one to die? It's not Meghan who's in a relationship with a nonwhite person! Let alone the galactically stupid claim that Dodi was a relationship. |
Maybe maybe not. She didn’t exactly have a great relationship with her sister. |
Why are you so concerned? Are they asking you for money? |
Harry is having a complete Ginger Snap |
What next? Release a sex tape? What a spectacle these two are making of themselves. |
