As the original Logan poster, I am very amused to come back to this thread and see how divisive it became and agree with the bold above. It would be one thing if we lived in Boston perhaps. Also appreciated the poster who commented on the popularity of the name Shannon in Ireland/Irish families. Maybe I’ll put it on my girl name list! |

Shannon is not in heavy use right now, so it is a solid choice.
My daughter said there was one in her school, and it is honestly the first time I’ve heard it on anyone under 35 or so. She just thought it was fun her friend had her mom’s name. |

Seamus. As in Wee Baby.
We referred to him as the Wee Baby Seamus so much during my pregnancy my MIL actually thought we were naming him Seamus. Which is a name I actually like and would've seriously considered if we hadn't already discovered the perfect name for our son. (And yes this was an Archer reference, my H loved that show at the time.) |

Fellow teachers and I love to make fun of the ridiculous kids' names.
Orwell is laughing in his grave at all the political correctness. Umm, you DO know who Orwell is, right? |
It is a name. But an ugly one in my opinion. |
Let me guess, your sister is white and named Karen. |
| Reece, Olivia, Carys. I still love Carys, but my husband was a hard no. |
