Logan and Colin Now expecting a girl and totally stuck on names.
You can totally name a girl Logan!
Logan is an airport. Not a boy or girl name.
And a city in Utah. It is awful. Might as well name the kid Apple or North.
What a bizarre take. Logan is definitely a name, and a relatively popular name at that. I grew up with a boy named Logan and went college with a girl named Logan. It’s an extremely popular name in Scotland. It’s the first name of the comic book character Wolverine and has been a name on several very popular TV shows. Saying it’s not a name because you associate with a couple place names is like saying “Virginia is a state, not a girls name.” You don’t seem to understand how language and words work.
As the original Logan poster, I am very amused to come back to this thread and see how divisive it became and agree with the bold above. It would be one thing if we lived in Boston perhaps. Also appreciated the poster who commented on the popularity of the name Shannon in Ireland/Irish families. Maybe I’ll put it on my girl name list!
