| Does anyone know what age groups the new ecnl regional VA league will start at? U11 or U13? |
U11
|
Once they split to a north and a south division, ECNL-RL is going to be the best league by a lot at U11 and U12. Likely the best competition and local drive times. |
They have been ECNL for much longer than 2 years. They used to have their top U11 and U12 teams in CCL just like Loudoun and Arlington but were kicked out. Now the top (green) team at those ages plays NCSL. They should do ECNL Regional too |
Link? I’m Loudoun girls parent and have heard nothing of us switching leagues? |
It went out in a club wide email yesterday afternoon. There may be info on the travel page. |
It was also all over their social media. |
There was a big quote from Mark Ryan up on their social media pages about it yesterday. Specifically mentioned the red teams. Not sure what it means for the black teams since I *thought* they played in CCL 2? |

Their website shows NCSL on list of leagues so likely that. |
CCL is dead. And we can all live in a world where parents stop crying about road trips to VA Beach even though they never had to do so. |
| yay....bye bye ccl |
So Loudoun's in the 9th place in CCL in my DD's age group. Are they moving to a more competitive league? Isn't it former VPL just rebranded as ECNL regional league? |
All of these teams should have just stayed in the NCSL. I don’t get it. Nobody cares about leagues except the leagues and the idiotic clubs and parents who are chasing the brand. |
It is just NPL so it will cover the same age groups. |
