ECNL-RL pulled two other clubs from CCL, FWIW. Legacy and Fredricksburg.

Loudoun made a business decision. They need to keep ECNL or they will disappear.

McLean was kicked out of CCL1 2-3 years ago. It’s a very deep, dark mystery as to why? At the time it was a 2 year ban but they are now on year 3. For some reason their CCL2 teams remained.

NPL is the best league after ECNL. ECNL purchased NPL out to not lose the golden eggs chicken gig they have going on.

McLean Green is supposed to move back to CCL1 next year. They moved to CCL2 because teams weren’t competitive enough (esp on boys side). They anticipate this changing after merger with SYA.

What are you talking about? They’re not losing ECNL. They’re gaining regional ECNL for their second teams.

Now. Wait and see. There's going to be relegation. And when enough of the first teams are relegated then you lose your vote and you are no longer an ECNL club.

Hmmm. Given that Loudoun is not at the bottom in most of their ECNL leagues, how do you figure relegation? I think they are bottom in two, middle of the pack in most, and at the top in one. All of this despite crappy coaching. So the players are there to do even better if they’d ever hire good coaches. Hey maybe they’ll hire TF coaches (just kidding). Anyhow, how does this equate to relegation? Don’t care too much, but trying to follow your logic. I think you’re just a Loudoun hater. Assume you lost some money, or your kid was cut, or you were a coach that was let go. What’s your story?

McLean was not kicked out of CCL. They moved their top teams from CCL-1 to ECNL.
