You think? Have you seen the voter restriction legislation they’re introducing all over the country? Don’t forget, they’re still in power in most state legislatures and governors offices. They control redistricting.

We are still teetering on the edge of devolution into minority rule and fascism. Don’t fool yourself into thinking otherwise just because we won back the White House and hold a slim House majority and hair’s width Senate majority.

I had the pleasure of meeting Congressman Raskin after having heard him speak at UMD a few months ago. What is striking to me is his genuine desire for bipartisanship. He had many examples from every point in American history about different parties coming together to do important work, and examples of civility and heroism from both parties. It was an honor to meet him.

I've also met him. He seems like a truly decent guy, trying to do hard work.
