This was my thought, though the outdoor space and land looks really nice. I kind of like the yellow wallpaper with the birds, too. Way too much heavy wood everywhere for my taste, though, and I don't like the art.

It's a historical house, built by a famous architect. The wood is heavy and dark, but it would be insane to paint over it. It's old money, not low income new money.

Ughh, doesn't look like it, and I suspect a lot of the heavy tackiness is not original to the house.

Yes, its a 1920's home and has some beautiful features. The furniture is funky but the woodwork is beautiful. I lived in Pasadena the city is all about Old money.

This is close by and is a steal. Our friends live in the neighbourhood and the Girardi place is a nice piece of property- just shy of an acre and the outdoor photos don't do it justice. Even the inside photos-some appear shmaltzy and there is deferred maintenance but it is a nice home.

Why would they? They aren't real friends.

DP but I would have for the extra press coverage.

Good find! I'm underwhelmed by the interior. It's like it screams "old person" but I can see how some people might really find that beautiful. It looks like Tom's house, but nothing reminds me of Erica.

Lol. Every inch of this house was chosen or “designed” by her. Guess she was trying to please the hubs.

She said on her first season that hi first wife lived in the house and Tom would not sell. The house was decorated by the deceased first wife according tomEricka Jane.

Anyone watch the ABC special on them? It’s on Hulu. I’m watching now.

Fascinating details about the fraud.

They could leave Danielle Straub out (RHONJ). She’s a loon.

Just watched this and, in the very early days of my legal practice, I was a bankruptcy lawyer. SOOOO interested to see if they make her liquidate her handbags. And does she dare carry any of them on the next season of the show, with a special counsel on her tail trying to recover anything of value?

She was a complete fool to continue to participate in this season.

I mean... right??? It's literally a show about opulent lifestyles. How do you go on that show when every single thing you wear or show is a potential asset of the estate?

Pretty crazy that she is listed on the boards of many/most of his companies. So she will have a hard time pleading ignorance.

Tom is scum. All of those victims are being victimized again.

Or dodging fiduciary duty suits... man she is freaking screwed. I wonder if her own part of the bankruptcy is going to get converted from Ch 7 to 13 because she has a lot of income and income potential.

The house’s design and fixtures are beautiful, it’s their decor that is terrible.
