Arizona is a disaster

You were right.

When Lombardy had this many cases per million residents, Trump suspended travel from Italy (and other European countries).

Sorry -- better link maybe?

I’m so upset about this. I’m from Arizona and have family and friends there, including several with chronic medical problems and one that was in the ICU earlier this month.
Also, one thing that helped the hospitals out east was that no one was driving so there were no car accident victims in the ERs and ICUs....everyone in AZ is still driving around.

He’s old enough to die from it too. Thoughts and prayers.

You know what, sorry, I'm done. One thing I love about the coronavirus is it doesn't give a shit if you are a dumb Trumper or a dumb rioter. The coronavirus is like the honey badger. If you don't protect yourself, social distance, wear masks, etc. it is coming for you.

It doesn't care who you vote for. It doesn't care what you think about black lives or blue lives. You can tweet about thoughts and prayers or about correlations between justice and peace all you want, but it's just all noise to the coronavirus.

I'm sad for all the people who got sick in the spring before we really understood this thing. I'm sad for the healthcare workers who need to deal with this, and the essential retail workers who need to put up with this. But all these morons out now at protests and rallies just deserve their fate.

ARIZONA has crossed the rubicon... its epidemic now exceeds Brazil and Peru to be one of the hardest hit regions in the world.

Because if they are in trouble.. then looking at the numbers Maryland and Virginia should long ago run for cover..

see and compare..

Lets' fact check: Please take a note of the numbers for Brazil and Peru and compare them with the image below with cases in Arizona, Maryland and Virgina..

Brazil and Peru: Today's stats:

and here is Arizona, Maryland and Virginia..

The only thing that crossed the proverbial Rubicon is Dude's imagination.

Comparing Arizona to Spain or Peru is outlandish. Also and perhaps offensive to those countries who endured so much.

Quick glance at the screen shot side by side of the countries and the Arizoa stats from wordometer worth million words:

Umm it’s per capita

The person making these screenshots doesn’t understand that you need to look at per capita data.

Per capita, Arizona has more cases than Brazil.

They have more cases, normalized by population, than any other state: https://91-divoc.com/pages/covid-visualization/

And it’s only going to get worse because their Rt is so high: https://rt.live/
