Is there one? The only thing I know is that McLean, FCV and MUFC benefits from Bethesda's past dysfunction. I don't know of many players that have left MYS for Bethesda. Let's hope that the dysfunction is behind Bethesda.

Lol, dysfunction? Did you see that list from a couple posts ago. I guess if they were functional, half of them would be on the U20 USWNT.

Indeed, the list is impressive but the point is that McLean, FCV and MUFC have better lists and each has a few on their respective list who drive past Bethesda to get to practice and each of them will tell you that they either left Bethesda or never considered it because of the dysfunction. Just let it go. KL is already making it better.

So does anyone know what’s up with team selections? We were told that boys offers were going out tomorrow, but the pictures with the coaching slates say “tryouts starting in June”.

+1000 We actually have had a good coaching experience this year. But it's so maddening that they have this infrastructure of staff and expensive non-soccer director, and can't communicate very basic information. It's really not that difficult and reduce our fees if you don't have a real ops team.

We are new to the Girls ECNL side at Bethesda. It has been BY FAR a better experience than any other club we have experienced. This has been true from top down.

That said, we are really looking forward to the future at BSC. Sorry others have had bad experiences.

This board can be very negative and some posters who seem to have old grudges.

We have had a good experience this year on girls ECNL side. Nice girls and nice parents. Our daughter misses her team and soccer terribly. Looking forward to sunny days again when the girls are back together . Nice to hear them laughing on zoom calls - but will be great to hear them laugh after practice. I even miss all the driving around to practice . . .
