Meghan also grew up an only child (her step-siblings were adults by the time she was 2), so I can't imagine she wants that for her son. I think its a good idea for Archie to have a support system not just at home but also at school.

Clearly, you are not an only. There are positive and negatives to being an only. I always longed for a sibling growing up and even more so now as an adult. I am close with three people who are “only” children and 3 of us have had 3 and one has 2. Lots of discussions about wanting our kids to have siblings.

Another only child here, and being an only sucked for me, as I had overbearing parents. Would have been nice to have a sibling around so we can support each other. Instead I bore the brunt of my parents' craziness.

Another only child here who had no intentions of having only one child due to how hard it was for me growing up. I was lonely and forced to grow up too soon because all conversations around me were grown up conversations and there was no kid perspective/interest/focus anywhere. I am still envious of people who have that sibling bond I never had and will never know. I’m glad my kids have each other and I often say after we (parents) are gone, they will always have each other. And as I say that, my heart aches knowing that when my parents die, I will have nobody left from my original immediate family.

About MM, though: she looks gorgeous! It makes me sad and hopeless to see how unkind we are to other women. It’s so ugly and one of the reasons men control the world. We are too busy trying to knock each other down.

Cute baby, definitely looks like Harry, but what an insult to the British public. This was clearly a publicity stunt designed to garner maximum attention for their tour which is kind of gross. They’ve been hiding this kid from sight all over Britain (the country which partially supports them financially), but have no problem whipping him out for the cameras in South Africa? This reeks of attention-seeking.

Oh please. The British press have been begging/demanding pictures of Archie all summer and practically ordered Meghan to show him off on Day One of the tour 'or else'.

Keep believing that. The British media keep saying they are unpopular and need Archie to repair the damage, but I think everyone could guess that Archie would make at least one appearance during the tour. That's about as much as those reporters know ahead of time, and on Harry and Meghan's terms, which is brilliant. BTW, the American PR firm is for the Sussex Royal foundation work in the U.S.

Win over the public? What public? The world loves her and the British line up in droves to meet her. Meghan and Harry have more press and crowds following them around the world than anyone else in the Royal Family.

When I saw Meghan in Suits for the first time, I was fascinated by her face. She is stunning. Her face is not perfect in the Eurocentric standard of beauty, but it is animated and alive, intelligent and unforgettable, innocent and wise at the same time. She has a beautiful face and it grabs your attention.

I am amazed at her poise in facing the racist trolls and still carrying on with class and elegance. That she is a strong woman is obvious. She makes Harry very happy and she will be a strong mother to Archie.
