I think they feel an obligation to give Archie a sibling since Harry and william were huge supports to each other in the crazy royal world

Meghan also grew up an only child (her step-siblings were adults by the time she was 2), so I can't imagine she wants that for her son. I think its a good idea for Archie to have a support system not just at home but also at school.

Is this a joke? Most only children loved being only children.

huh? I was an only and hated it. I begged for a sibling for years. I still feel that loneliness as an adult.

The extra weight is not flattering at all. The good skin/makeup is flattering, but certainly not the weight.

Oh you’re one of those ppl...

Pretty sure she’s nursing as she’s made comments about having to go home and feed the baby so at 4 mos out she probably can’t get pregnant nw even. Sure some people do but probably not. She’s just hanging onto some extra weight and you people are mean. The baby is still so young! I’m sure she’ll get back in great shape eventually but either it’s not a priority or breastfeeding is making her hold onto it. We’re all different. I say this as someone who is 3 mos pp and it took a lot of work and chasing a toddler to be back in shape.

She was twelve-weeks pregnant on the Australia tour while wearing the same dress.

The body language from both of them in the second pic could not speak any more loudly. It’s made more obvious when compared to the first pic. Yikes.

They’re clearly listening to a speaker or observing an event in the second photo. Trying to compare body language in those photos is a fool’s errand.

Well I was an only and loved it. I wouldn’t assume others hate it. I’m friends with many only children and no one has ever wanted siblings.

Clearly, you are not an only. There are positive and negatives to being an only. I always longed for a sibling growing up and even more so now as an adult. I am close with three people who are “only” children and 3 of us have had 3 and one has 2. Lots of discussions about wanting our kids to have siblings.

Another only child here, and being an only sucked for me, as I had overbearing parents. Would have been nice to have a sibling around so we can support each other. Instead I bore the brunt of my parents' craziness.

+1, another only here and I can so relate to this. It was also very important to me to give my son a sibling.

I can't wait till his hair comes in. I hope he gets the red but with some curls.

He does look just like Harry! So adorable and I love that she brought out on her on time - to meet with the Archbishop Desmond Tutu was just an extra special touch.

Meghan and her family clearly are doing things right.

I can't stand it - he's the handsomest little one. And looks nothing like Meghan which is amazing to me. I see red hair too.

I guess I missed the memo.

I think he has Meghan's joy and happy temperament. Not all babies are at ease with crowds of people and cameras. Archie is looking directly at them, curious, open, almost delighted to see everyone.

Welcomed by a Queen + blessed by a Archbishop. Archie's certainly had an auspicious four months.

There's more. I love seeing the 'behind-the-scenes' photos of them as a family (well, Meghan) just bouncing and playing with Archie. I know she's trying to keep him calm but I've never seen that with the other young royals and its cute!

My jaw dropped when I saw this picture.

That is one beautiful baby and I never would have said the same thing about the other kids. He just looks like he's going to be impressive as he grows.

What other kids? Kate’s kids?
