No, because a percentage of people here illegally will self deport before being arrested.

doubtful

They'll slip under the radar, continue to work for cash, and live with others who will cover for them. This is how it's been for a long time - only now, it's "acceptable." And yes, the free healthcare incentive in CA (as noted by another poster) will keep them here.

As will Gavin Newsom’s instructions to illegal immigrants on “knowing their rights.”

Yep. It turns out that even illegal immigrants have rights to due process under the Constitution. What happened to “when we ignore the law, the fabric of society erodes”? Or does that only count when it benefits rich white men? I mean Epstein’s rights were certainly protected. If we can do that, we can get a Judge to sign a f**king warrant.

The message Newsome, and other Democrats are sending to the illegal immigrants is that they don't have a "right" to be deported.
When, in fact, those being targeted in the raids have had their cases heard, adjudicated, and have been ordered to leave.
It is shameful that Democrats are telling people here illegally to break our laws.

The radical position isn't deporting people with final deportation orders. The radical position is *not* doing so. Also radical: elected officials encouraging people to come here illegally, to overwhelm the system, to evade deportation orders (since very few of them qualify to stay) and then endangering and demoralizing government employees carrying out their lawful duties by comparing them to Nazis.

I just saw this on Fox:

NYT, 7/14/19

Previous Presidents deported:
Clinton: 1,860,000
Bush: 1,170,000
Obama: 611,000
Trump: 396,118

And the detention centers are NOT concentration camps. It’s truly abhorrent that Democrats are actually comparing any of this to the Holocaust.

It’s even more abhorrent that Republicans are sepersting children from their parents and placing them in crowded disease ridden concentration camps, and allowing them to die from communicable diseases, including typhus.

https://www.sltrib.com/news/2019/06/24/migrant-child-held-texas/

And don’t get me started on making human beings drink from toilets.

What is the difference between Anne Frank and kids being held in cages at the border again? Besides the fact that the Nazis were humane enough to provide water?

It’s a crime against humanity, and I pray that it ends with politicians and political appointees being held in overcrowded cells at The Hague.

The difference with Anne Frank?! You’re STILL asking that question?

The people being detained at the border were not dragged from their homes into the camps. They WILLINGLY left their homes to try to force their way into someone else’s. They have the CHOICE to stay home!

Where’s the concern for the conditions of the jails American citizens stay in?!

Where is the concern for Bill DeBlasio's Rikers island where Paul Manafort was headed?

I am beginning to wonder if this liberal moron is legit trolling because these arguments against the rule of law are TOTAL non-starters.

Open Borders will never make it on the Democratic Party platform.

PP here: Former President Obama actually deported 2.5 million people between 2009-2015. I'm happy for others to provide more accurate statistics.

Newsome says:

Ask to see a warrant signed by a Judge
You have right to remain silent
Ask for legal counsel

This is the law, moron. And ICE needs to comply with it.

Yep. They called Obama the Deporter in Chief. The difference is that he targeted criminals and not families with kids.

You say this like criminals don't procreate. It's not inconceivable that criminals might have spouses and children.

No one is taking your melodrama and histrionics seriously, just so you know. The “toilet water” story was proven to be a lie - there is a sink on top of the toilet which provides potable water. Check your facts. No one was told to actually drink out of a toilet, though it sure did stoke the outrage machine, didn’t it?

As for the rest of your nonsense, not one of these immigrants has been forced into a detention camp. They knew exactly what they were getting into when they decided to claim “asylum.” However, they probably thought they’ be released into the country right away - gosh, I wonder who fed them that misinformation??

As for the children being held, many were unaccompanied to begin with - and sick before they even got here. Why aren’t you condemning Mexico for not providing care for these unaccompanied minors?? What is Mexico’s part in all of this? Why do you continue to blame BP for the condition these children arrive in, and not their parents or other adults they were traveling with?

And finally, the detention centers are far beyond capacity at this point. Where do you suggest BP place all of these people - who *continue* coming? Why aren’t you taking some families into your OWN home?

There is no right to counsel in immigration courts. Remember that most of these people have already gone through the process and had appeared before the judge who signed their removal orders. There is nothing left for the counsel to do anyway.

Dems have become an anarchist, anticapitalist, antisystem party.

Let's hope they don't occupy the White House for a looooooong time.
