Let's be realistic. The top players at McLean or FCV no matter the age group are not looking to jump to the other ECNL or DAA clubs because those clubs are inferior yet the top players at Loudoun/BRYC/Bethesda or MU/WS are looking to jump to McLean or FCV.

Apples to oranges. As good as the PDA showcase is, it cannot compare to a national playoff event, DA or ECNL. Compare the two national playoffs.

Commitments made before GDA existed. McLean was the premier club in the ECNL before the GDA now they are in the tier 2 league. Their mistake.

At least ECNL was smart enough to move their playoffs right next to GDA playoffs this year. That way the coaches can get to some ECNL games too.
