Hat tip to Trump for his unassailable SCOTUS pick

This exactly. Roe v. Wade is a distraction from the true reason Kavanaugh was selected. The conservative agenda of protecting corporate interests over individual rights is at the heart of this nomination.

And, of course, this from Seth Abramson's tweet, which is worth a read on the Kennedy/Trump collusion:

30/ What explains this *bizarre* behavior? These risky lies? Violating a core campaign promise? Exposing Kennedy to accusations of unethical conduct? It's simple: Brett Kavanaugh had written in 2009 that a president should be exempt from *civil suits and criminal investigations*.

Don’t forget quashing voting rights and gun control. He’s the whole package for them.

Liberals are nuts. The stop Kavanaugh website was released two minutes after his pick and is funded by Soros backed groups.

In fact Theresa pictures out there I’d these protestors with signs of all the picks and they dumped the ones of the other three.

Agreed. All of our individual rights -- the right to health care, to living in a freer/safer society with fewer guns, voting rights, a woman's right to choose -- all these are being dismantled bit by bit. The larger picture IMO is the consolidation of power around corporations and oligarchs, which is at the heart of the conservative agenda. Trump is into this presidency for one reason only: to enrich his family, ensuring his seat at the table with the world's wealthy.

Meanwhile, the truly stupid among us, see only one or two bite-sized issues...scary times.

One thing the left won’t admit is the SCOTUS ruled the same way he did on 13 different occasions when cases were brought up to them from his court. He has a good record and was Kennedy’s clerk for a while. He’s a solid pick

Healthcare isn’t a right. Point to the constitution and show me where it’s a right

https://themanpost.com/brett-kavanaugh-bill-clinton-sex-scandal-trumps-scotus-pick-prepped-lewd-questions-on-lewinsky/

‘If Monica Lewinsky says that you ejaculated into her mouth on two occasions in the Oval Office area, would she be lying?’

‘If Monica Lewinsky says that on several occasions you had her give [you] oral sex, made her stop, and then ejaculated into the sink in the bathroom of the Oval Office, would she be lying?’

‘If Monica Lewinsky says that you masturbated into a trashcan in your secretary’s office would she be lying?’

Are these the type of questions that would be asked if an individual was not the president? If the answer is in the affirmative, I see no reason to exempt Clinton from having to answer them.

You are a little confused. Have you even read the Bill of Rights?

No, I think you are confused. No one said that health care as a right was written into the Constitution. Many among us believe that access to affordable, and yes, in some cases, free health care is a basic human right.

If you don't, fine. You do you.

“Of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health care is the most shocking and inhumane.” – Martin Luther King Jr.

But..police not to where it’s a right as written in the Constitution.

“Many of” you can believe that all you want. Our laws and rights are outlined in the Constitution, which, the last time I checked, is the document we follow when determining law.
Access to affordable health care or free health care are not outlined in our Constitution. Nor is women’s access to birth control or abortion.
If you think it belongs in our Constitution, work on changing the law - not stocking the SCOTUS with justices who will legislate.
Our country does provide the poor with health care - often times for free. Many organizations work to ensure that those who cannot afford health care, get it. There is availability for low cost or free health care for those who need it. Despite the fact that it isn’t listed in our Constitution as a right.

DP here. You can't say something is a basic human right and then go on to say "you do you". The recognition of something as a basic human right leaves no room for someone to behave differently. For example, free speech is a right, so a person is not free to "you do you" by infringing on someone else's right to free speech. If access to affordable/free health care is a basic human right, that means some doctors or health care provider must provide it without compensation, which amounts to slave labor. If you counter this by arguing that doctors/health care provider can be compensated by tax dollars, then it's not really affordable/free to all, is it?
